So, I just downloaded NHK's kouhaku app from here

BUT I have no idea how to use it properly cz i don't understand japanese.
So far i only managed to turn on the notification for Arashi haha

This is what i figured out from tinkering around...

First button - it's like a twitter feed or sth
Second Button (currently selected) - provides the list of performers and what they're performing. there are three tabs on top for red team/ white team/ both. You can click the artist's name and switch on for notification
Third Button (Bell Icon) - You can also turn on notifications here
Fourth Button - No idea, i think it's just a poster
Fifth Button - directs you to http://www1.nhk.or.jp/kouhaku/ (what is it supposed to be anyway?)
Sixth Button - it's like a list of past kouhaku performances and what each artist performed. (i tried clicking onto the artist's name but sadly no song popped out :(
Seventh Button - settings and all of the app agreements i guess

I still have a couple of questions:

• Can we watch it live on our phones??? If not, does anyone have a link to stream kouhaku live on new year's eve?


• How can we vote? I don't live in japan
