Dang! I'd love to come, but my timings all off! Missed Comicon. Now will miss this. Will be in Palm Springs from Aug 2 - Aug 9, then down to San Diego.

Will be spending a night in LA, too. Any good places to stop (near these areas) to find Japanese mags/music? I read something about "Little Tokyo" (hope this doesn't offend anyone) and thought about stopping there. But if anyone can point me in the right direction to begin with, I could save a bunch of time!

Hmm, yeah you should stop by the Kinokuniya/Marukai stores in Little Tokyo. You can probably find the address on the Kino site :)

Oh you used to live in SoCal? and yeah because the Asian population is pretty widespread here so there's places like Kinokuniya and whatnot. XD

Thanks for the suggestions! I was in heaven in Kinokuniya. All the wonderful magazines! And the book resources, kyaa! We do have a Marukai store in Hawaii (not my island, though), but you need to be member to shop there. Hit some other "M" store at the Little Tokyo shopping mall, though. Kinda sad! There were so many closed shops!
