Info: For Arashi’s 10th year anniversary as a debuted group, many fans were hoping to create a collection of videos, pictures, and art compiled and made by Arashi fans throughout the world. Ideas, plans, and the gathering of various forms of media began about a year ago, but production stopped for various reasons and nothing was heard of the project for months.

However!

Production of the ARASHI INTERNATIONAL FANVIDEO PROJECT has began again. If you would like to send if a picture, video, or piece of art that shows your love for Arashi, please visit / register at http://arashi2009.forumup.com/ to share what you have. You can draw a picture, do a karaoke rendition of an Arashi song, or just write a message for Arashi. The more people that join in on the fun, the better! So show Arashi that their fan base reaches every corner of the world!

Remember, it’s not how big or how omgAMAZING what you come up with is, it’s how much you want Arashi to see what you‘ve made or how much it means to you. I’m sure anything you come up with will make Arashi happy. :)

I hate to say this because I think this is a very thoughtful idea, but there's no way I can think of that Arashi will actually see this project. If you send it to the company they'll send it back to you (it's happened before with fan projects). Unless you had some other means of getting it to them?

Well, this is what the person in charge said: " actually there is really a chance that they'll never see it. to tell the truth. it's not guaranteed at all. but there must be a way for them to notice; i mean, we'll try sending the stuff multiple times as fan letters, and tell japanese fans to find a way. aiba's mama's restaurant, etc. there was even suggestion to try at the tv stations. and-i-dont-know-what-else. also at least the final video will be available on the net later i think, idk if public....but if public, we could also use usual fanletters to let them know there has been some thing, and they can even look it up online, if they are interested, that is.
so there is absolutely no guarantee for them to get the video&book just by sending to johnnys, but we'll try all things that we can think of, and if it doesn't get through in the end.....well, it must. otherwise it's a nice thing for fans to watch maybe. "

And from me: well you won't know... if it's big enough maybe they'll take notice. it'd be great publicity for them :)

I really like the whole idea, too, and I'd love to do something for it if it could work. But is there really a solid way of getting it Arashi? I mean, unless you had a way to directly give to one of the Arashi members after a show or something, the company people wouldn't accept it. T3T

Great that you're trying to do something to show them your love, but...heh, most of what you're doing is actually considered 'illegal' by the agency. Their faces are copyrighted (silly, but true, at least according to their standards), their songs are, the lyrics definitely are, and aside from messages (which probably won't be sent to them), nobody outside Johnnys is allowed to use anything made by them at all.

Still, might be fun. Just, do this for your own sake instead of for them, I guess?
