Arashi had its mago2 boto race today/yesterday at 2pm ... and they were ... LAST lol~
She is pretty happy and can't stop laughing, I have a mixed feeling, I'm glad they haven't given up and knew that they'd NEVER get first place but then, they have worked so hard ...
well anyways, they've done it and we are going to see the episode soon, so stay tuned ^^


off to volleyball~ going to imagine the ball as jisan's head *muharhar*

DEFINITELY! So many ppl watching them, shows that they have many supporters behind them!!! And it is a good promotion for their single and JunJun's dorama ... They definietly did their best and just cuz Sho shippaied a lil ... SO WHAT?
Was really great work for them even to beat their own record! YAAAAAY~ A-RA-SHI!

I am a new fan of Arashi. I live in America and don't really know Japanese (other than what I learned in my Intro class in College). What is this race?

oh, well Arashi has thsi TV show called Mago Mago Arashi (=grandchildren Arashi) where two of them go help a granparents pair with housework and daily stuff for one day only!
In their special episode, they couldn't fulfill ojisan's(=grandpa) request to have fun and succeed at rowing, so they promised to come back and compete in a race!
well, they had more than a month to train for it! was pretty tough for some of them (Satoshi had a butai[theater play] going on and Jun a dorama to shoot!)

I saw some clips of them with grandparents. Now that makes sense lol. Thanks for the explaining that, it is helpful. I am trying to learn more Japanese but it is a slow process for me lol.

haha~ for me too, I'm currently taking classes at uni to improve! I just watch them without understanding! you learn some words with time, but it's still funny without! ^^

They do know how you make you laugh! I was stressed out over some term papers and watched something of theirs (I don't remember what it was), and I don't remember ever laughing so hard!

Nino is not a lazy bum XDD

Nino can't row because his left hand was injured when he was a junior.
He can't use much power in his left hand >_<
He can't even hold the mic long during a 2-hour concert (needs to switch hand now and then)

Arashi was at the last place in the race but. . . they had a better time record than they had during practice! 30 seconds faster!!! XDDDDDDD!
YOkatta ne!!!!!
(btw, Keio University's rowing boat team was one of arashi's competitor! Sho kun's koohai desu yo!!)

*just finished watching boating 4*The whole boating episode was great! I mean, come on, they are so skinny compared to the others but their attitude rocks!!
