Honestly, I think Johnny has gone batshit crazy. First Ryo gets a solocon, and now Ohno and Sho. O_O It all seems very random. Not that I don't think it's cool...but I don't understand why there's all these solocons suddenly.

the ryo solos i can understand, because he is relatively new and very popular, and he's been groomed for solo work since forever. but an established, already popular band? that's very weird.

call me a romantic, but i'm not sure if i like the idea of arashi concerts when all of arashi isn't there.

That's exactly my thought, too. You can get away with it (barely) with KK and TxT becuase it's 2 in each group with different styles. But Arashi is ARASHI dammit. As much as we might favor one over the other, it seems a little less fun(?) when they're solo, even for musicals and stuff. IMHO, they should put all their music effort into Arahsi and leave solo stuff for stage and television dramas. I love Sho but I sure wouldn't fly out to Japan for a solo. But for a con by the entire group? Fuck yah.

I think this is a step towards *everyone* having solo cons. I'm expecting KinKi Kids to each have solo cons again in 2006. Tackey & Tsubasa are having them already. I believe *all* the members of Arashi will get to show off what they can do in concert over the next several months.

I've read it someplace else and i'm still in shock. I mean, i love those guys, but going in solos concerts? I don't like the idea of that... what is JE thinking? I'm not saying they won't pull it off but, still... i love arashi and i mean when there's the 5 of them!

T&T solo concerts, KK solo concerts, Ryo solo concert, and now Ohno and Sho? Why don't they take their free time up to make KAT-TUN's debut instead of all this shit?
