Aiba Family Restaurant
Feb. 10th, 2009 08:21 pmnot sure if its alright to post this..
i went to chiba with a few friends to have lunch at aiba family chinese restaurant.
(i cant find the apostrophe on my keyboard!!)
i rem reading articles that said aiba mama was pretty troubled by fans intruding their house/restaurant, affecting their business. SHe even had to go around the neighbourhood pleading for their coorperation not to let out address to their house or restaurant to anyone who ask. So im not sure to what degree are photos allowed to be put up here. Perhaps i will just pick out a few of them which i think are harmless looking ya?
There were quite a couple of gifts given by fans all over the world, being used as decorations for the entrance. what u see above was from a fan from shanghai!
and this was from Korean fan! i mean the drawing. うまくねえ?!
i would have died of happiness if my gifts for arashi or ohno chan (oops!) were to be placed in their house/restaurant opening to the rest of the public. LOL...
btw, does aiba own a dog!?
I must say, i can really feel the love between the members when i saw these 2 signature boards. As you can see from the date written, the rest of the members were at the restaurant during/ard aiba birthday, which i suppose, was to celebrate his birthday with him!! awwww.
we q for almost 1.5 hrs before we managed to STEP into the restaurant before it was closed by 3pm. and even thou we were already in the restaurant, we q for another 30 mins before we got our seats. YES its that popular and crowded :D what to do.. hahha cos its AIBA FAMILY RESTAURANT!
Pardon the shaky hands. can u spot pan kun *the monkey"? heh..
although its a chinese restaurant, the interior looks more like western restaurant.
my friends and 1 (3 of us) ordered 8 dishes and it was aiba mama who took the orders from us. After which, both my friend and i agreed that we have become aiba mama fan lol.. She looked pretty stern Because i was the one who gave me name and made orders, i got to "talk" to aiba mama 5 times in total! hahaha cant believe it im making counts for this.
ohmygod. I LOVE their gyoza, chilli prawn and MAPO TOFU!!!!! its no wonder aiba always talk about it during arashi no shukudai kun. he has all the rights to be so proud of it. lol..though its priced slightly higher than the usual chuuka restaurant in japan, its worth it! Frankly speaking i would avoid having chinese food in Japan. Its because, not only do they taste pretty horrible, they come in very pathetic amount yet exorbitantly expensive. But those from aiba restaurant somehow changed my views! i dont mind spending a little more on transportation, travelling to chiba just for their chinese food!
gyoza goes "sakusaku"
mapo tofu goes "hirihiri"
chilli prawn goes "puripuri"
wahah..
thats all!
comments are love!
and please please please.. do not repost these pictures!! thank you very much for your coorperation.
And to dear hardworking mods.. do take down this post if the contents aint appropriate to be released! D
*i still cant find the apostrophe button on my keyboard!!!!

Date: 2009-02-10 12:22 pm (UTC)mm. Although I don't quite get why even though aiba mama says she doesn't want fans to flock the place, she still hangs gifts from fans at the entrance? O_o;; mmmm.
and lol, Did you go on a weekend ? Or Friday ? Or just a regular weekday? Because wow. THAT is popularity, having that much on a "slow" day for most restaurants.
