If your DVD players is multi-region, yes. Check it out. Recently most new DVD players sold are multi-region, though.

yeah.. it may work depending on your DVD player, if it's multi-region. but you can also watch it in your computer if you don't have another choice. that's what i did when i borrowed an arashi con from my sister's friend. You can change the region of your WMP into region 2 and turn it back again to your original region afterwards..

Do keep in mind that there is a maximum number of times (3-4 I think) you can change your computer's region codes before it permanently becomes the last region you changed to. And I think you'll have to reformat your computer to reset the counter.

i changed mine into region 2 or 3? i don't remember, but my DVDs are still working with it even though i already changed it.. so i think you don't really need to bring it back to your old region after you finished watching the arashi dvd con..

by the way, when i tried to play the DVD in our computer, a window said that i should change my region to the region where it was supposed to be played and it asked if i should change it. then i clicked the ok and then you'll just change it into what country you want.

On most DVD Players, you can reset it to "region free".

I haven't checked this in a while so I'm not sure any more, but there was like 3-time limit for changing Region-Code so after a while it won't let you change at all on players. So best bet may be just change it to "region-free" to begin with.

Hint "region free code" and proceed at your own risk.

try to google "region free code" and then search for your dvd player, it should tell you how and what to key in

i just watch my region 2 dvds on my computer since it's already set at region 2. at least with my computer (its newer) you can change the region up to 5 times. but since i only watch region 2 dvds on my comp it's not a problem.

It will happen automatically. When you put the dvd in your computer, it will ask you if you want to change the region code.

what hontowa said, and also you can go to Control Panel -> Device Manager -> click on DVD/CD-Rom Drives -> Right Click for properties of your drive -> then click the DVD Region tab and change it to region 2.

The best way to go is to download a program called "Region Free DVD". You just have to open it before you try to run the DVD on your computer and it will automatically change to whatever region you need.
I actually can't find it in google, so I'll upload it for you...I just can't do it right now. If you want it, just reply to this message so that I remember to upload it when I get back later tonight.

My brother actually found me a better one that doesn't expire and it doesn't look like it needs a registration code. It's here:
