Arashi in the Philippine comic strip...

First time posting in here...I don't know if I tag this entry properly.

kekeke...thanks to Faith (light_99 ) in the Everything JE forum for bring this up. I don't know maybe I've missed this one or my brother didn't buy a news paper on those days.

Arashi mentioned or in the Beerkada comic strip of a daily news paper Philippine Star publication in the Philippines.

Sorry for copying the picture and putting it here. I don't have any intentions of copy right infringement nor I own this comics strips. XD And the recent ones are this February. Does this mean a pre-advertisement for Matsumoto Jun's new drama Smile or just a coincidence. Jun is mentioned 3 times in the comic strip. And one comic strip shows a fanBoy who won in a Arashi trivia contest in an Arashi fan meet.

Who knows, maybe the writer of that comic strip is an Arashi fan and also go to Arashi fan meets here in the Philippines. Sorry, but I can't stop flailing with this one... XD

And guess what's the question that made this fanboy won in the trivia contest. lol! XD (Read the rest of the comic strip for you to know)

i've read (i think)in je_philippines or was it in arashi_sapthat Mr. Lydon and her girlfriend REALLY went in the Arashi fanmeet held in Manila. also, If I'm not mistaken, her girlfriend is an ARASHI fan.

I've read thru the site, and yes his girlfriend is an Arashi fan. Imagine he includes Arashi in his comic strips. XD

I find the strip amusing because it's a sign that even some of the artists knows Arashi. :)) It just shows that we're not really "alien" to the outside world. XDD

yep... They went to the SakurAiba party last Jan.24...

and we do have meetups in Manila... we already had 4 parties sponsored by different fans... Nino's bday, Matsujun's, Ohno's & recently was the SakurAiba party w/c we organized....

Matsujun was the first one to be mentioned in Beerkada in 2007. Actually he was mentioned twice for that year and the same goes for 2008.
