Join Contest in Japan?

Hello Everyone,

Out of curiosity, I wanted to find out if there is a possibility of joining those lottery contests in Japan, Terebi. You know those kinds that you see on dorama's where in you send a postcard and they give out like 100 cds. Well, this has always been at the back of my mind, everytime I watch a dorama. I am sure you do too? But since nihongo is limited. I really can't say if this is open to overseas viewers. Has anyone tried?

Don't quote me on this but It'd be bold and deduce that the kanji on the screen says that postcard should be sent on or before 03242009?

Its usually only open to participants with Japan addresses and a Japan contact number. It would be better to get someone there to send on your behalf...good luck.

I've tried it before, but not to get prize or things like that. I send it to Shounen Club. I don't know if it's can get through, since I'm from overseas. Well, we can just hope right? ^_^

Yes, I did haha. I send something about Ya-Ya-yah I think, after they were disbanded. I was so mad I sent a postcard to them, asking about Ya-Ya-yah and requesting Shoon to be the MC for a day (If you watched Shounen Club, then you must knew what I was talking ^^;)

It'd be just like competitions in any other country - they're only run to those who have a mailing address in said country or are citizens of said country.

Yeah ~ Sadly us overseas participants don't get to join in these contests unless you happen to have a Japanese Address. T_T

yeh..just like those above me said, you have to have an address in japan.
lucky for me, i have relatives in japan, so i always ask them to do it for me. :)
