Question: Arashi Album/DVD Sale in Korea

Hi!  I just want to ask (especially those from Korea) how long does an Arashi album becomes on sale in Korea once it's released in Japan?
I'll gonna be going to Seoul first week of April & I want to know if Believe & AAA 2008 DVD (for release 3/25/09) will already be available by that time I'm there?

The Korea version of Believe is being released on the 20th, so it should be there by then. Not sure about AAA 2008, though. D:

Its difficult to say..
Last year was everything from Jan - Aug released in August, on the same day (step & go, one love, DAL album...).
And a week after was "truth" and TIME concert tour released.

However 'Believe' have been quite fast.. so maybe if you are lucky it will be out in April...
otherwise in May-June..?
No news yet on Korean sites about pre-order anyway~~

many thanks. could you suggest names of record stores where i could find arashi stuff? is there an hmv in seoul?
that was my fault last year when i went to taiwan, i wasn't able to ask for the name of the stores where japanese cds/dvds are sold. i only found 1 store & it was worth it coz it was big & had the latest releases.

The main cd/recordstore is Hottracks which can be found in various Kyobobookstores~

Mainone is located in Gwanghwamun branch (Gwanghwamun - Line 5 - Kyobo exit)

then.. Gangnam branch (Gangnam station - line 2 - exit 6 or 7 and walk straigth from the exit for about 10 min or so.. then on the LEFT side of the main road you'll see a huge brown/redish buildning.. and take the lift down to the basement)

Jamsil branch (Jamsil station - line 8 or 2) It is located in one of the Lotte Deptartmentstores.. I think it is Plaza one.

Then Synnara records in Yongsan (IPark mall - Yongsan Line 1) it's located on the same floor as IMAX cinema)

ehm.. also LOTTE MART (food store has cd's and dvd's..some..at least the newest ones)



Of all of these.. I'd suggest you to go to Gwanghwamun or Synnara.. it's the easiest ones.


In Kyobo (Gwanghwamun) they also have Japanese section with books and magazines..
you can buy Arashi photobooks, Wink Up, Duet, Calendar etc... ;)

Hi there!!! I just got back from Seoul & I would like to thank you for helping me with the directions for Hottracks. I was able to buy the dvd in Gwanghwamun & it went with a free poster (double treat!!). I also went to the japanese mag section & was able to get a copy of Potato & Cut (w/ Sho on the cover). Thanks a lot for your help. That was the first thing i did when i arrived in Seoul. Mission accomplished :)

I want that too.. might ask a Korean friend to check it out..lol
However I have the JP version, but well.. can always have a copy ^^

the poster features a huge logo same as that of the dvd cover w/ the view of the convert venue. i think you should ask first if there's a poster left coz i bought mine on the 2nd day of release. don't know if there's enough stock of the poster.

i definitely enjoyed Seoul. hope there were as many arashi stuff on the streets as there was w/ bae yong joon ;D

Ah.. I thought it'd be with some photos on the boys and not plain ones so to say...
Well normally they have enough for a week or 2.. u only get the poster when buying the dvd or cd the poster is for...

Last year they had an add regarding posters etc for the new album (DAL) however I though, no need to pre-order, I'll buy it the first day anyway, but NO only the ones who had pre-ordered got the free stuff

Haha.. I know, and evey time u walk on those streets they want to sell everything to you, so annoying... Once while I was with a friend she couldn't stand it so she shouted, I'm Korean I don't need it..lol ^^

so far I only know that the Taiwan press for Believe / KNK will be out next Fri ie. 20th

it probably be around the same time for Korea's case ? no word on when the AAA 2008 DVD be out in Taiwan as of now
