arashi_onOk. .i'm not a stranger to Arashi. . I have that un-healthy obsession. BUT. . I have no clue. Hawaii is mentioned a lot. .and at one place it said "Debut in Hawaii". . and in the "In a Rush" Photobook, they had pictures from being in hawaii.
What is the significance of Arashi and Hawaii?. . I just wanted to ask. .(seeing as I live here and love arashi)

/ 9.15.1999 (US HI standard time) - Arashi first debuted as a group and held their first debut appearance/introduction to Japan at the shores of Honolulu, Hawaii USA. Because the date in Japan at this rate was 9.16.1999, the group decided to have both 9.15 (US HI) and 9.16 (JST) as their official debut anniversary dates to serve both the Japanese/Asian fans and the American fans on the other side of the globe.
3.30-3.31.2002, the group headed back to Hawaii for a special appearance/mini-concert to promote tourism in Hawaii due to the aftermath of the 9.11.2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks in New York. Because of their generous and kind efforts of doing so, the State Government of Hawaii signed a decree of declaration that on March 30th & March 31st, Hawaii will "celebrate" Arashi Days ("Stormy Days") named after the group. They are the first Johnny's group (or any J-Pop/idol group to be exact) to become delegates by a regional government of another country other than Japan. According to a Japanese nationwide news article released a few weeks after their 2-day event, the group considers Hawaii as their second home next to Japan.

anyway. .wow. .WOW!!. . Thank god I put aside my pride and asked about it now. .now I can celebrate Arashi Days!!!!! This is probably because the governer and the government in general is asian here. . hahaha. .
It wasn't an overload at all. . do you have more info about this. .like when aiba is coming. .or if they are coming for Arashi Days and stuff. .or know where I can go to read more about it??

That marathon...I dunno tho,you know of any major marathons in Hawaii? all I know is that Higashi ran it before and asked the boys to do it. Nino totally ignored the question while Aiba went "Ok"...it's a pretty gruelling marathon tho...

For me, favorite member is/was, really a cycle. .
