Just wondering if Arashi cds are sell outside of Japan?

Just wondering if any of Arashi merchandise, cds and others are sell out of Japan..Like stores in U.s, indonesia or maybe Malaysia...Is there? Since i'm from M'sia, I still try to find a way to go to Japan but meanwhile, is there a place to purchase em other than the internet?

I've been to Melaka before and some of the CD shops do sell JE CDs/singles/albums, though I haven't found any Arashi ones. (I have seen NEWS).

Dramas are easily found there but I have no idea about merchandise.
I know that most music CD shops do sometimes carry JE stuff, but its usually not the Japanese version that comes with the stickers or whatever.

HMV (or HVM? I forget) in Singapore sell Johnny's merchandise. And you can go to Kinokuniya in your country to buy calendar, pictorial books, magazines, etc.

I'm not from Singapore, but I know there are two HMV stores, one in The Heeren Shops on Orchard Road and another in CityLink in Raffles. The Heeren Shops store has a better music selection. I was there late last year and was able to buy some JE CDs. You'll have trouble finding older albums and singles though, but they should have the latest singles and Dream "A"live in stock.

Kinokuniya in Takashimaya (also along Orchard Road) sells JE magazines and books. I remember seeing the Arashi Is Alive photo book there.

Kinokuyniya (http://www.kinokuniya.com/) has JE mags and CD's and a few other things, depending on the store.

Book Off (http://www.bookoff.co.jp/en/index.html)has CD's and mag's too~
but I've haven't been to one yet so i don't know for sure~

i'm sure arashi's cd has korean, taiwan, and hong kong version. as i know, singapore also sell cd and the other johnnys merchandise (uchiwas, penlight, etc). since u are from malaysia, there should have a place that export their cd.

in malaysia, i've seen lots of japanese series but no arashi, right? in hmv hk, there is...in singapore, i believe there is in hmv...taiwan also has them...korea as well...thailand also i believe...i guess china as well since they had a concert there...

In Toronto, Canada I know they sell the series. But as far as CDs, I don't know.

Hi there! In U.S. major metropolitan areas, you'll find a store like Kinokuniya, Asahiya, Book Off, and other specialty Japanese stores that do sell a variety of Japanese books and cds.

In New York City, Kinokuniya does have some Johnny's stuff and if not you can always order from them instead of having to buy something off the internet. Book Off, as of yet, still hasn't have any Arashi CDs there -- I have checked several times and there aren't any. Oh well T_T; I guess no one wants to sell their CDs. haha. :) Good luck!

depends what u want actually, if u want official stuffs (eg cd/dvd/uchiwa n others), best is still buy from online, via cd japan/ yes asia / playasia (free delivery) / amazon.jp/ or auction jp site or trade&sale sites. for books/mags, just go kinokuniya, 4th floor klcc, can call/email/stand and ask at counter to reserve the mags u want they will notify you when the orders arrive and keep 7-14 days for reservation :) (depends on the person that take ur order)

Dramas are usually sold for a rather cheap price, and photobooks/pitukara's can be found in Kinokuniya. For singles/albums/concert DVD's though... so far I only ound Final Time and AAA2008 at Sungai Wang, and even then they were the only copies arond. =.=

yes there has Arashi's single been sold here.. i've seen Kumorinochi Kaisei/Believe and Beautiful Days singles.. but sadly they are Taiwan's version.. T_T

I have Taiwan version of Time album and Arashi Around Asia +Dome DVD.

Taiwan version is cheaper than Japan version. for album, Taiwan version has an extra lyric booklet that has lyrics in Chinese.

And for DVD, Taiwan version has Chinese subtitle that CANNOT be turned off.

I live about twenty minutes from the Little Tokyo district of Los Angeles and that's where I go to get all my Arashi goods. Mostly CDs and magazines and DVDs and such. But about 5 minutes from me is a Japanese supermarket and they always have 'Wink Up', 'Potato', 'Myojo' and other JE magazines available. It's fairly easy for me to get ahold of Arashi merch! ^__^

It's quite hard to find arashi stuff like cds. It's not impossible but I haven't found any when I was in Malaysia. It's easier to order it from the internet like yesasia. You can get dramas quite easily but I'm always wondering if they're real or not!

However you can get magazines as someone mentioned Kino. Also they do sell older magazines for cheaper in Sungei Wang. I found a Non no with last year's arashi special for around 5 rm!

as far as i know there's no shop which sell arashi cd in indonesia, i ever found arashi cd in disctarra but it's hongkong version.
but if i want to buy arashi magazine or photo book, kinokuniya provide it.
for cd i always buy it from play asia, it's the cheapest one or hmv the shipping cost is cheaper than cdjapan.

omg yes...and I bought kinki kids' 99 album and NEWS's taiyou no namida + summer time there and I RLY REGRET IT THAT I DIDNT BUY 'ARASHI NO 1' THAT TIME >.>

the way to go would be the internet! even if you found any cds/dvds in malaysia they will either be "real taiwan/HK versions" which would cost u a bomb or fake ones which still cost u a bomb... dont ever trust that shiny stick we have on "original" cds XP.

haha totally agree. All those J-drama DVDs also have "fake" stickers. Don't ever believe they're original.

U can find concert DVD at level 3 Plaza S&M (beside Kotaraya, opposite Petaling Street). Very cheap price, not original but still has good quality video.
Mags & calendars, like everyone has mentioned -> Kinokuniya.
Albums & singles however are much harder to get. In Malacca, u can place an order from the cd shop and they will help you order online -> very expensive...
There's also 1 tiny shop in Berjaya Times Square (I'm not sure which level though) which also take orders. Also very expensive and I think they only bring in either Taiwan or HK versions.

you should look for HMV.
I buy Arashi CDs from HMV in my country, Singapore.
But my country's HMV doesn't sell Limited Edition ones or Arashi concert DVDs. Just the RE ones.
If you are looking for LE/DVDs, I suggest buy it online.

i think, some may know this place.
its call HIRO COMICS.. i never see arashi's single there
since when i go there, their single not out yet..
but there are some people say it sell it..
but, if it does, maybe just a few copies..
there's no much arashi stuff there, but others, quite many..
but... few weeks ago, arashi AAA 2008 was there, however i did not buy it
since i/ve download it already..
the shop is at kota raya..

in indonesia CDs/DVDs are very hard to find
i once found arashi 5x5 single collection album (which is, as we know, a verrryyy old one) at a CD store near my house, i think the store was World of Music
that was very surprising ^^
besides that, nope nothing at all
there's another shop in here where you can order arashi CDs but i guess they must be taking some profit from that, meaning the price will be higher
but i'm trying to get my CD in this way, since buying online is out of the question for me...
