Question: Strangers on a Train
Jul. 5th, 2009 01:44 amHey everyone,
So, as I'm still pretty desperate to find a ticket to Nino's play, I stumbled upon this link at Johnnys-net.
I suck at reading kanji, so all I could pick up with the help of some online translators was that you can buy tickets at the door?
It gives you contact information to Ticket Pia and the Globe Theater, but I wouldn't be able to speak to anyone anyway (unless they had english interpreters). On the second option there though, under Pia's contact info, is it saying that you can queue for tickets at the door from 12 to 2PM?
Or am I just reading this horrendously wrong?
If anyone could help me out, I'd love you forever<33
I might just have to resort to scalpers/idol shops D:
Thanks in advance to anyone too~

Date: 2009-07-05 06:44 am (UTC)But good luck trying to get tickets. Last time I check, tickets for his butai were selling for 40,000yen on Yahoo Auctions. ^^
Oh and I forgot to add that you must also bring an ID with you if you are lucky enough to get tickets. They don't guarantee that you will get tickets, and they're hinting that most of the seats might be crappy seats, so be prepare for that? Each person can also only buy 2 tickets max.

Date: 2009-07-05 06:50 am (UTC)Second, with ID checks, does that mean they won't let foreigners watch? Or is it just a sort of formal thing?
Third, if I were somehow lucky enough to get a ticket by lining up, shouldn't the prices be original-value, since I'm not buying it off of greedy fans, but from the theater? XD
And I honestly don't care if it's crappy. I heard the Globe theater is tiny, and being in close proximity with Neeners is enough :P Not to sounds creepy...
Thanks again~

Date: 2009-07-05 06:55 am (UTC)And yeah, the Globe is a tiny tiny theatre, it's based on the Shakespeare theatre back in England? The acoustics are nice and you can hear pretty clearly without the aide of mikes.
From what I understand, even with the original balloting, there were different prices for different seats, based on how close the seats are to the stage, so I'm guessing that you'd pay the original price, but since there are price levels, you can't pick which price level you're going to pay for depending on which seats are available.
But I sincerely hope that you'll get to see the butai. I know I want to, but my ballot fell through. It's a really rare chance since Nino hasn't done a butai in a very long time. ^^

Date: 2009-07-05 03:33 pm (UTC)That sounds nice, I would love to even just step into the theater for a moment.
That's fine, the most expensive ticket on Johnnys-net was like 8500 yen, which is totally fine compared to prices on Yahoo Auctions~
Thanks so much, I'll definitely be on the hunt once I'm there. Thank you thank you thank you!

And speaking/understanding Japanese fluently is probably a must to contact through the phone right? ^^;
