YATTERMAN Canadian Premiere in Montreal -- Fan meet-up?

Hi everyone,

I don't know how many of you live in Montreal or nearby, but I was checking out the website for Fantasia, Montreal's Asian Film Festival, and lo and behold -- YATTERMAN is the first film on the list!!! It's the opening film for the festival!! Congrats to Sho-kun, Takashi Miike, and the rest of the cast!

The movie is Japanese-language with English subtitles.
Tickets go on sale July 7th at 1PM, for $8.00 CAN

For those Canucks that couldn't make it to New York (or if you want to see it twice!), I am suggesting that we have a fan meet!! I am new to Montreal and would love to make some Arashi friends :)

Haha yeah, well in fact after that I decided to go to both of the screenings too. (My French is actually not that good XD; It's sort of textbook-French, my written and aural skills are much better than my actual speaking. I get the impression my French is about the level of Sho's English... XD;;;)

I just had a freaking attack because I read Montreal and Yatterman and I was supposed to be going to Ottawa the whole month of august which meant that I could easily get to Montreal from there, but then I read the date and there's no way ill be there on July the 14th unfortunately :( This is so depressing !
Ah well, be sure to represent Sho with all you guys have and hopefully I'll hear about it and will get the chance to watch it afterwards =)

I used to live in BC and at least you're not at a huge lack of JE magazines and things there XD;;; The Vancouver International Film Fest is in the fall and I feel like likely Yatterman will be playing then XD;

I guess technically it's all in Richmond?? There's the big japanese bookstore (Iwase...? don't quote me on any of these names, it's been a year since I moved) in Yaohan that has all the Potato and Wink Ups and stuff you can muster, they even airmail ship some of it in so you can get it almost as fast as a Japanese fan could (^^;;;

There's a Book-Off somewhere in Richmond and downtown Vancouver that might be a good source too....?

Sophia Books on West Hastings and Richards (Seymour?) also carries Japanese magazines -- not idol ones, but you can get fashion ones like NON-NO and music ones, which Arashi has been in a lot lately.

There actually used to be a Johnnies store in Pacific Mall like 4 years ago but it went under just right after I got into Arashi.... and no I don't live there anymore so whatever (@_@;;

hi . im also from richmond - and if you get a chance to go downtown vancouver there is a cheaper (i think?) store called bookoff . i've been wanting to go there .

I'm from Montreal. I will definitely be there. Right now i'm in Paris and i'm coming back july 12. I was waiting for Fantasia to put up their program before my holidays, they are so late. I literaly screm when my sister called me. If Sho come i will die!!!!!!!

awww man....this is so sudden with such short notice n godd i have class...i would totally bus over to montreal for a one or two day trip just for this..y..y cant this be in august or june wen i didnt have class..

they should come to toronto in sept...we totally have a toronto international film fes..which is huge..so plz..come?..
