Hi everyone,
I don't know how many of you live in Montreal or nearby, but I was checking out the website for Fantasia, Montreal's Asian Film Festival, and lo and behold -- YATTERMAN is the first film on the list!!! It's the opening film for the festival!! Congrats to Sho-kun, Takashi Miike, and the rest of the cast!
For those Canucks that couldn't make it to New York (or if you want to see it twice!), I am suggesting that we have a fan meet!! I am new to Montreal and would love to make some Arashi friends :)
Let's go to the 6:30PM show on July 9th. Please email me your contact info (LJ name, real name -- because calling people by their internet handles is a little awkward, email) here: kim@evilsmile.net
I will try to get back to you as soon as possible and I'll try to organize something? Depending on how many Arashi fans there actually are in Montreal I'll figure out a suitable meeting place. This space will be updated as things get figured out. Je parle aussi un peu de francais si c'est plus facile pour vous.
For anyone that lives outside of Montreal that can guarantee that they'll attend (Toronto/Ontario people? Americans with cars?), email me, and if you can Paypal me the money I'd be happy to secure you a ticket.
See you there?

Merci pour offrir ton aide en francais :) Je me debrouille assez bien mais si j'ai des questions je te demanderai XD;

Date: 2009-07-06 02:33 am (UTC)(My French is actually not that good XD; It's sort of textbook-French, my written and aural skills are much better than my actual speaking. I get the impression my French is about the level of Sho's English... XD;;;)

Date: 2009-07-05 09:25 pm (UTC)I just had a freaking attack because I read Montreal and Yatterman and I was supposed to be going to Ottawa the whole month of august which meant that I could easily get to Montreal from there, but then I read the date and there's no way ill be there on July the 14th unfortunately :( This is so depressing !
Ah well, be sure to represent Sho with all you guys have and hopefully I'll hear about it and will get the chance to watch it afterwards =)

Date: 2009-07-06 03:24 am (UTC)There's a Book-Off somewhere in Richmond and downtown Vancouver that might be a good source too....?
Sophia Books on West Hastings and Richards (Seymour?) also carries Japanese magazines -- not idol ones, but you can get fashion ones like NON-NO and music ones, which Arashi has been in a lot lately.
There actually used to be a Johnnies store in Pacific Mall like 4 years ago but it went under just right after I got into Arashi.... and no I don't live there anymore so whatever (@_@;;
