Final Cut is, like the name says, professional level; it's standard software in my university's Film Studies programme, and we are kind of famous for our film department.
So it depends on your money and level of skill. I choose to use Movie Maker, because it's free XD
Additional Notes on Final Cut Pro

I haven't used anything outside the four programs I mentioned, so I can't recommend any more :)

Date: 2009-08-05 01:46 pm (UTC)but i want to know if there's a editing software which can make me edit out the subs? like splice the video height to cut out the subs...so if ever i'll make a fanvid i wouldn't have any conflicts with subbers (because sometimes i can't find a good raw vid for it)..cause of course i don't want to put the subs there....
I hope nobody finds this inquiry annoying...thanks!
Re: hope you wouldn't mind...
Date: 2009-08-06 05:33 pm (UTC)That's what I do with my fanvideos, I just cut the clips slightly higher than the subs that way their not visible :D
and even though I like the cute japanese subtitles they put on the bottom of japanese variety shows, sometimes they don't look to appealing in fanvideos xD so I cut those out too :)
