Sorry to bother everyone, but I have ONE very IMPORTANT question to ask.

There is this post on a_ra_shi LJ :
http://community.livejournal.com/a_ra_shi/1729337.html

Concert tickets for Kokuritsu have been ridiculously high this year.
And I am willing to pay 80000yen for a seat myself, since I fail to ballot for it. * Or rather my friend failed. As I am not in the fanclub.*

But after reading the post, I am holding back a little.
I will definitely be in Japan during the concert period.
And would definitely love to go to their 10th year concert like everyone.
But I do not wanna spend S$1000 and being kick out of the concert venue.

So I am wondering if there are any fellow Singaporeans or Malaysians who already have the tickets and are going this year?
As in your tickets are purchase off ticket.co.jp or Yahoo JP Auctions.

And I am thinking of going on the 28th August.

I need some help and advice here, regarding TO GO or NOT TO GO....

Yabai nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

It's a lot safer to buy tickets before the tickets have been sent out because then, there's no way for JE to block the seat numbers. You could always take the chance, but I understand the risk involved. ^^;

From what I know, most people don't even read that orange slip and it is very troublesome just to go through the whole registration process.

Kokuritsu is too huge no matter how you look at it.

why not try asking "her" about the rule..because if I remembered correctly,"she" got a ticket for "the" venue..and I think "she" is Singaporean..

speaking from what I know from friends who went to Arashi concerts in past 5 years, they never been asked for FC member ID before. If you are capable and are willing to pay, I'd say go for it. Worst case scenario, you just speak English to them coz my mates said if u speak english to the staff, they'd be in awed and let you off easily *lol*

good luck anyway

just pretend u know zero japanese, u'd be fine. I don't think they would check your ticket unless you get like awesome seat i.e. front row or seat that next to moving stage

I don't know if you are aware of this yet but Jimusho just posted this on their fanclub website
https://www.fc-member.johnnys-net.jp/guest/guideline/index.html (https://www.fc-member.johnnys-net.jp/guest/guideline/index.html)

Basically issuing the blacklist seats which they saw on auction sites. I would suggest if u wanna buy ticket, buy the one that does not show exactly where is your seat located.

I just wanted to add though that I went to the Osaka Tegomass concert and at first they would not let me in because there was a japanese name on my ticket and I am obviously not japanese looking. I had to argue a bit and finally got in. I went to about 7 concerts in teh last 2 years and it was teh first time I ran into trouble. I am not sure if they are finally getting serious about checking things...

I don't want to scare anyone, just make sure you are prepare to fight to get in with a good story... in japanese.

btw they seemed to change their mind when I started arguing back in japanese... so that speak english thing might not be a good way ;-)

If your chinese I wouldn't worry too much about it then... they didn't stop me because they were doing a membership check... I think they just stopped me because I looked very very not Japanese (I'm blond with curly hair).

So let's just call it racial profiling... ;-)

When they stopped me, they said it was not my name of the ticket, I said I know I'm with my friend Yamamoto, then I screamed out the name as if I was calling this japanese girl that had been standing in line in front of me... I said, she just went it (it work fine since everyone was in a rush to get in). I said to him that I was with that girl that just got in. He looked at me for a while and then repeated. So you're with her. Together. I said yes. He waited a bit and then said ok to go.

I have no idea why they picked on me that day ;-) A few days before I was in Ishakawa for Puzzle, and the venue was a lot smaller...and we had no problem there. I might just have gotten a keener on the job.

Hey! I'm going for the 29th too!!
Would you like to meet? But I'm only getting there 29th morning...so I'll be queueing for con goods on the 29th itself.

From: [identity profile] karened.livejournal.com
Haha really? Er sure! All of a suddenly I'm like bombarded with friends' requests to help them get stuff so if I can't (and I most probably can't) carry them all back on 28th, I might just go queue again on 29th! Where are you from?

Oh that's great!! When i've read your post i was like yabai yabai maybe she didn't see it yet.

The prices are really high so good luck to you!!

Wow. What a horrible person (not you, mamchan).
Ripping off fellow fans. How nice. :|

I don't care how in-demand these tickets are, selling them for more than the original price is evil. It is exactly why Johnny's is trying to find them and are making an attempt to be stricter.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how many people get kicked out.

scalpers don't care whether fans that buy from them get to see the concert or not. i don't think kicking people out is the right way to be dealing with the problem, it's not stop anything except true fans experiencing a live concert. ugh, scalpers need to diaf.

I think it's a way to discourage ppl from buying, so by lowering demand, hopefully the supply will cease, or at else decrease. But that's not solving the root of the problem!
