Voting for arashi_on's layout contest is now officially closed, and here are the results!

The winner of the layout contest is maiisaki, whose layout you will find adorning the community's main page as I speak. Please contact me ASAP regarding your chosen prize from this post-- you may choose one primary set, and a second one from which I will pick out a part as a bonus for providing a profile banner and icon as well.

Can you maybe post a screencap of what you're seeing? I've looked at the layout in basic, plus and paid accounts, and they were all fine.

That's... really strange. D: I'll give the layout codes a look-over tomorrow after I've gotten some sleep, but it seriously looks completely fine on my end, and I've never come across any coding errors before that would produce something like what you're seeing. The banner loads fine at least, since you can see it and it's also there under the grey stripe. I'll see what I can do?

EDIT: I think I might have an idea of what's wrong, actually-- are you using internet explorer, by any chance?

yeah, i'm heading off to bed, too but i'll let you know if it looks like that later on today. :) it's fine if it doesn't end up working for me, i usually open links through my flist, anyway but maybe someone else has the same thing? no idea. haha.

I'm looking at it on IE myself since I noticed that was the browser you're using, and it does the same thing for me too, but if you minimize the browser or switch to another program/window, the banner shows up again. It might have something to do with the ads in the sidebar? I'm not positive though, I'm no coding expert. ^^;

I made a reply here to show how it looks in my 6.0 IE browser: here (http://community.livejournal.com/arashi_on/2032711.html?thread=14186567#t14186567), and apparently it looks exactly like what Amy said. If you scroll down a bit, the part of the banner that was covered by your toolbar will disappear. But if you minimize the browser or switch to another program/window, or if you switch to another tab, it'll be restored. I'm trying to install an earlier version of IE right now. I'll get back to you when I'm done figuring the cause out :)

This is what I saw while viewing the layout with IE 6.0, but once I scrolled down, it was going like what you said, grey box's blocking across the banner. I'm trying to figure out what caused that, and I'll probably back within hours to report.

Sorry to not check how would the layout look like in IE before :)
