P.S. anyone hear news of Flags of Our Fathers coming out?. .if it's already been announced and stuff, sorry, i don't pay much attention to nino Clint Eastwood Movies. . ^^. . and we reallly want to know the american release date. .if any, y'know. . i'm sure there is though. .i mean, c'mon. .clint eastwood. .duh!

I'm under the impression that there are two versions of that movie, one that focuses just on the American point of view (Flags of Our Fathers), and another that has the Japanese side (Letters from Iwo Jima) which I think Nino would be a part of. I'm not entirely sure, I may be wrong, but I don't think he will show up in Flags of Our Fathers.

no you're right there is 2 version and I know Nino's in the Japanese point of view but I don't know if he would appear in the American point of view one (I odn't think so) but yeah your info is correct though XD

From what I've seen it would seem that Nino is def. only in Red Sun Black Sand (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0498380/) and not in Flags of Our Fathers. The US release dates have been announced as August 4th of this year or October 20th (there are some conflicting sources on that ^_^') and then the second film on December of this year with RSBS being released after FOOF (*hehe*). I assumed Letters From IwoJima focused on the other character more and figured Nino wouldn't even be IN that one. . >.<. .

After completing "Flags Of Our Fathers," a film based on the book of the same name, which chronicles the battle of two Iwo Jima and the fates of the flag raisers, Eastwood announced to make another film on the Iwo Jima battle from Japanese angle as "The Letters from Iwo Jima," in which Watanabe takes a leading role as Japanese Lt. Gen Tadamichi Kuribayashi.

Lol I watched the ep yesterday and fell from my chair laughing! Hillarious! Aiba comes up with the funniest ideas! They should put the game on sale as an official Arashi product!
And about the movie I heard that only Watanabe and Nino will play the good guys who hate the war. All the others will be fanatic imperialists. So our Nino is the hero in this one. But I believe that he dies in the end! T_T

Oh! I'm sorry if I made you sad! The story is based on actual facts and I heard that almost noone survived the battle. I don't know how the movie will end though; I made a guess purely based on facts. However this movie will make Nino an international star so even if his character dies he will become popular on a broader audience. I just hope that he will be able to be with Arashi as always and that he won't have to leave from time to time because of "foreign" bussinesses.
