speculations about Nino and sliding? ^_^

I just read in a concert report that in the last day of Arashi's concert in kokuritsu for 5x10, it rained really hard and of course what happens next ----> Arashi+sliding with happy faces all over the stage..

but all did that except for...Nino...

I kinda remember Nino being the only one who didn't slide in AAA2-kokuritsu encore in the dvd...and he also didn't in this one...

what does anybody speculate about this? =) just a fangirl question..like maybe he have a previous injury or anything? or he is just plain not into it? =) (though it sure is fun, look at Sho and Jun's faces)....

**someone said he just doesn't like getting soaked, cause in the encore of AAA2 there's a part when Riida slided too close to Nino and Nino ended up pointing at his shoes and pants with a >what the RIIDA!< expression and Riida bowing to say sorry....so haha that was a cute Ohmiya Moment**

Nino may be a snarky brat but he's known to be the most shy among the group..i think he just really didn't feel like doing it..xD

Nino has problems with his back and hips. You can find more information about this in information with costars and staff from his dramas ans plays in the past few years. Sliding probably isn't good for that.

i wanted to say the same^^ in a recent interview he was asked about something like that and he said, his hips hurt/are weak from time to time, probably because of doing too much backflips (lol)

he has a babyface, but actually he's getting old *just joking* ;D

Yup in his last interview for one magazine I forget, he was talking about his hips hurting. I'm actually happy he didn't do it because then he'd be hurting afterwards and despite him saying that no one cares if you're feeling bad but if you do your work, I wouldn't feel right if I got a kick out of Nino sliding and then find out that he was in pain because of it *guilt-proned*

He mentioned in one of his interviews that although everyone else was sliding, he didn't want to cause any more of the microphones to break as they'd already damaged some due to the rain.

I think I remember reading that Nino wanted to join in all the sliding fun and games for the AAA kokuritsu but the thing that was stopping him was the fact that he didn't want to ruin the mics. They're really expensive to replace! LOL, Nino always thinking about saving money!!

when they were sliding, they were giving the mikes to nino, and nino ended up with 5 mikes at the end, so he couldn't slide.

...which also means that he was the only one that could be singing (lol!) so he just warmed the crowd with the "hai!hai! hai hai hai!" or whatever the kakegoe for that was =]

I heard that he actually wanted to slide with the rest too , but he was worried about the mics
the mics cost a bomb each so it's like a huge amount of money altogether , I heard they broke a few mics during last year's kokuritsu , you can see from the song "kotoba yori taisetsuna mono" , riida's mic broke and he was giving a blur face and matsujun had to lend riida his mic and they ended up sharing 1 mic , until matsujun got another 1 from the staff... *juntoshi love ~!

he has been saying that he was concerned about the multi dollar mics.. and they wont be able to continue without the mics.. but i think the hidden reason was because of his health condition. he have problems with his back.. and was suffering since last year. this even happend with his recent butai.. his co-worker blogged about this.. so maybe.. that was one of the main reasons.. and just doesnt want to worry his fans so he was saying like he doesnt want to get his pants wet.. etc.

woooh I didn't even think much about this...but yeah he didn't on AAA 2008. Maybe it is a combination of all these reason, possibly....

He talked about it here, though most people have already mentioned the reason. And I think that, more than the fact that breaking the microphones is bad because they're expensive, it's also problematic if all the mikes break and then no one has anything to talk with. They can't communicate with the audience, or sing, or get people riled up, if they don't have working microphones.

His hip problems also probably factor in, I wouldn't rule that out. It seems like there's a lot of reasons. :(

money might be part of the reason but he also mentioned that the times when he felt that he has matured as a person was whn durin AAA kokuritsu, he thot of the possibility of the mic spoilin instead of slidin along with the others, something along this line.

I've been wondering about this too. :D

I read in an interview that his hips hurt a lot these days. :D And someone had to hold the mics! XDD Well, it didn't stop Riida, who takes care of his knees, to kneel-slide, so part of the reason why Nino didn't slide might just be his own choice. You know how he is. :D
