it said official but i dont think so,
coz i dont see this item in another online shop such as cdjapan, hmv or yesasia.
But maybe it's worthy enough to checked :p
It come in 3 versions:
Arashi 13pages A3 calendar version, Photo schedule version and Photo stand version.
They also issue Sho's A3 calendar version.

Arashi calendars list in play-asia

I want to buy one of those calendars but i wondering does Arashi get something (profit) from unofficial stuff selling?

This has already been posted about before in the community, actually. :) As stated before, the calendars are inaccurately marked because those are definitely unofficial calendars (and no, Arashi does not profit from them in any way). Hope that helps!

sometimes they use paparazzi pictures. and no, they really don't get anything from unofficial goods - it's someone else trying to profit from Arashi's fame \:

Actually, unofficial goods pretty much always use paparazzi photos, since the official ones are actually copyrighted by the company. :) The differences are easy to spot because in the photos from unofficial goods, they almost never look directly in the camera, and the photos are all from events or concerts that Arashi appeared in; you will never find them posing on the set of a photoshoot or in an original setting, for example.

I forgot to add: the only exception is that sometimes people print out pictures from magazine shoots and turn them into posters, laminated photos or shitajiki to sell-- those are harder to spot at first glance, but in general it's still easy to spot the differences in terms of quality.

Ooh, this is very true, especially the things you pointed out about not looking into the camera and posing, etc. I should have used "mostly" or something in place of "sometimes" in my comment. Apparently my brain is not on this morning, heh (:

That's a tough question to answer, since I'm not in the industry and I'm not very familiar with business workings. :\ I'm sure Johnny's are at least aware of them though, since there are many unofficial idol shops in Japan where they sell anything from paparazzi photos and calendars to mousepads and gluesticks. I can't tell you for sure why they let it happen, but my guess is that they might consider these unofficial goods as a different type of marketing/publicity. Yes, they do lose money in the process because all the money goes into the pockets of private companies (much like online fans pocket all the money from printing unofficial phone charms and cards), but it's probably either a negligible amount or they think it's a small price to pay for further recognition and future profit. That and it would be pretty difficult to stamp out the entire business, not to mention expensive.

Oh yeah, I've seen Arashi correction tape. ;D

There are certainly an influx of unofficial Arashi photobooks at Kinokuniya lately.

what is the Photo schedule version? i'll admit i bought or preordered this one --> http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-ym-49-en-70-3jbw.html
it says its official and instead of A3 it says A2. what is the difference? do you think it really is official? i tried finding more information on what a photo schedule version and A2/3 are but so far this is the best answers i have ran into. please help me understand this and if i made a good choice in buying that version or not. thank you~
