arashi_oni just finished watching an old episode of Shin Domoto Kyoudai and it made me think the last time arashi appeared as a guest was 9 years ago...actually i really wanna see them appearing there again, answering the "one question" corner...why do you think they don't appear there anymore?VS Arashi and Shin Domoto Kyoudai are both aired in Fuji TV, so i was kinda hoping to see them there to promote VSA...i really wanna see them appearing in SDK...

truth is, i dont think arashi needs to appear on SDK. they have 3 shows and are a force to be reckoned with. they dont need to appear on another show to advertise and promo, like SDK.
- news appeared because they dont really have a show.
- same with tackey & tsubasa, no show
- kanjani8 have appeared (2 or 3 times now) on the show, even though they got a few shows of their own, but they are kind of unappreciated and go unnoticed than the other debut groups; besides, the interaction between kinki kids and kanjani8 are hilarious to not have them come back (plus, along with the kansai roots they share)
- hsj has appeared and im sure they will again; when they have a new single to promote or something else...
- the senpais, like tokio and v6, all have their own shows but they also dont need to appear because of they own power (senpai groups dont really appear on kouhai groups' shows [of my knowledge so far])

Date: 2009-09-15 11:47 am (UTC)the REAL REASON why kat-tun doesn't appear ANYWHERE - esp. senpai's shows- is because they are really not liked by staffs and tv producers and etc. only NTV cares for KAT-TUN and that's why KAT-TUN only appears in NTV programs most of the time
And as for Arashi- it's because big star johnnys costs toooooooo much money to bring as guests.
+blame their managers or somth -Arashi nor any other johnnys ppl doesn't decide their own schedules!

Somehow it was leaked that during some rehearsal or meeting between Kinki and KT that Akanishi apparently made disrespectful comments to Koichi. The comments made were so degrading that they nearly had a brawl and some KT member felt the need to apologise on the behalf of Akanishi.
Once again, this is all just speculations of what happened.
I'm not sure why you felt personally offended by these rumours but I hope you are mollified by the fact that I have no intentions to defame Koichi and that I am also a Koichi fan.

it was btw Koichi and Ueda - Ueda was wearing chain things around him like a belt (when he used to claim he was a rock and roll fairy) during Shock Musical. Shock means all things to koichi since he loved musical. so he told Ueda to take off the belt. somehow that developed to a rumour amongst KAT-TUN fan that koichi slapped Ueda or somth. This became a big speculation so Koichi had to deny this rumour on his KinKi Kids radio. that was all.
and about KAT-TUN not being on anywhere - it's true. music station and Utaban looks away the fact that KAT-TUN is 'wild' b/c they are johnnys lovers- they cant do anything without johnnys (esp. TBS)

Sempai very very rarely if ever go on a Kouhai's show, and not as a group. Even when members of TOKIO have appeared on Arashi's programs, such as VS Arashi, and AnS it is only specific members. Maybe because Arashi is arguably the biggest group at the moment, and they are now old enough to support their Kouhai, like NewS and HSJ?

Date: 2009-09-15 02:45 pm (UTC)i think it was during the time when they just debuted....or a bit later than that (oh-chan had his hair cut). They were talking about the length of socks on girls tha they like or something like that...and during this ep. they (almost) broke ohno's pedometer XD.
Ohno's also made a comment about fishing to tsuyoshi, quite awhile ago, but i'm not sure if he responded or not :/ ( never seen the next issue.
it's really too bad that they don't really have much interaction anymore D:

Lol, I had heard about that, but I haven't read the next issue or reply either. I just imagine that together they would be quite funny, even if Tsuyo comes across as a little bit more outgoing that Oh-chan.
Beyond some interaction between Arashi and HSJ members, I guess there hasn't been a lot of interactions between the various groups, which is a shame I think, because nothing is funnier than two or more different Je groups!
