Arashi's songs
Oct. 21st, 2009 05:02 pmKonnichiwa minnasan!
I'm quite newbie here, and I've noticed how everyone is so nice and willful to help in answering to questions about Arashi, so I'm putting mine.... (I hope It won't be a problem) :p
I'm an Arashi fan since this summer (and it's all thanks to internet because I'm Italian and It's quite difficult to gain infos about japanese music) :p
Anyway, I found in a wonderful website all the full discography of Arashi, and in another one, all the lyrics and translations of their songs... but reading at your posts and comments, I discovered other songs that are not listed in any one of these sites...
So I was wondering... are there other Arashi's Albums that are not listed in these websites?
Are there any songs that are not included in albums and are played only in live concerts???
Or simply, they also sing other artists' songs?
(The songs I'm talking about are: "Sketch", "Kako", "Tell Me What You Wanna Be", "Hitsuji wo Kazoe")
Thanks to everyone who will answer me... and I hope I'm helping someone with these GREAT websites :p

Date: 2009-10-21 03:35 pm (UTC)The song which you are talking about i only know about "tell me what you wanna be", and if i remember correclty it was Jun's solo at a concert ... not really sure which exactly but definitly not from the recent years ... must be about 6-7 years old at least ^^
So i think the others maybe are also concert solo songs maybe?
There are a lot of Solo songs in the beginning which hasn't been released in any album ^__^
hope i could help a bit

Date: 2009-10-21 03:48 pm (UTC)The other songs you mentioned are solo songs that were sung only at concerts and were never recorded. In specific, Kako/Konseki/Kiseki is a solo song by Nino, Tell Me What You Wanna Be is a solo song by Jun, and Hitsuji wo Kazoe is a solo song by Aiba.

Date: 2009-10-21 03:50 pm (UTC)as far as I know, Tell me what you wanna be was never released on a CD. Jun sang it at the Arashic con and one more a year later or so, but no official record of it.
Sketch is a pretty old song, it's on the 5x5 album
You should check here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arashi_discography#Albums). Seems like it has a complete list of all singles and albums and if you click on the album names event he songs listed.

Date: 2009-10-21 03:58 pm (UTC)Sketch is a song that written by Arashi themselves, to celebrate their 5th year anniversary, kinda like 5x10. You can find this song in 5x5 The Best Selection of 2002-2004.
Kako (people often refer it to Konseki, since the Kanji can be read this way, but NIno himself insisted that it's Kako/Past) is an original song written by Nino. It's sung in Izaa, Now concert.
Tell Me What You Wanna Be first performed by Jun during their first Arashi Around Asia Tour (Taipei and Seoul), but I'm still unsure whether this is his original song or he just do a cover.
Hitsuji wo Kazoe is sung by Aiba in All or Nothing concert (or maybe you know it as Join the Storm concert).
If you need Sketch and Kako, I have it. Just ask if you want me to upload it :D

Date: 2009-10-21 04:06 pm (UTC)I'm an Arashi-newbie myself :p [also became fan since last summer, thanks to internet]
What I know about Kako is that it's a lovely song which I'm obsessed to at the moment and its a Nino solo and was song in a concert (don't know which one though)
The same with Tell me what you wanna be, it was sung by Jun :)
About the other ones I don't know. ^^

Date: 2009-10-21 04:24 pm (UTC)For example, Sho had the original "Pen no Sasu Houkou" series and covers like Black Eyed Peas' "Where is the Love?" on his Sho Beat. Nino also covered some of my all time favourites like GReeeeN's "Kiseki" and Aqua Timez's "Ketsui no Asa ni".
Sorry if I did not answer your question. ^^; Pardon me for spamming then, haha.

Date: 2009-10-21 05:03 pm (UTC)well, there are a lot of songs that are not recorded for many people,
"sketch" is a song for 100 fun club members, and"Green" is only for "dream-a -live"concert....and there are many sho's original songs that is aired on radio, and nino's original and cover songs that is aired on radio, and also "only love(aiba ver.)" is aired on radio too.
maybe i can't explain all here...
but if you want that files, you can contact me.
I have already uploaded that files before,so I can help you and give you the files.
