Konnichiwa minnasan!
I'm quite newbie here, and I've noticed how everyone is so nice and willful to help in answering to questions about Arashi, so I'm putting mine.... (I hope It won't be a problem) :p

I'm an Arashi fan since this summer (and it's all thanks to internet  because I'm Italian and It's quite difficult to gain infos about japanese music) :p

Anyway, I found in a wonderful website all the full discography of Arashi, and in another one, all the lyrics and translations of their songs... but reading at your posts and comments, I discovered other songs that are not listed in any one of these sites...

So I was wondering... are there other Arashi's Albums that are not listed in these websites?
Are there any songs that are not included in albums and are played only in live concerts???
Or simply, they also sing other artists' songs?

(The songs I'm talking about are: "Sketch", "Kako", "Tell Me What You Wanna Be", "Hitsuji wo Kazoe")

Thanks to everyone who will answer me... and I hope I'm helping someone with these GREAT websites :p
^_____^

I'm not really sure about this, but i think the discography site you found should be complete ^__^

The song which you are talking about i only know about "tell me what you wanna be", and if i remember correclty it was Jun's solo at a concert ... not really sure which exactly but definitly not from the recent years ... must be about 6-7 years old at least ^^
So i think the others maybe are also concert solo songs maybe?

There are a lot of Solo songs in the beginning which hasn't been released in any album ^__^

hope i could help a bit

Sketch was a special song that was released during their 5th anniversary I think to only select fanclub members- around 100 people is what I think I read before.
The other songs you mentioned are solo songs that were sung only at concerts and were never recorded. In specific, Kako/Konseki/Kiseki is a solo song by Nino, Tell Me What You Wanna Be is a solo song by Jun, and Hitsuji wo Kazoe is a solo song by Aiba.

Also, if you were looking to listen to these solo songs, Konseki can be found on the Iza Now concert, Hitsuji no Kazoe can be found on the All or Nothing concert, and Tell Me What You Wanna Be was done several times in recent years like at AAA 2006, AAA+in Dome and AAA 2008. There are several other solo songs that were never recorded which you'd have to find simply by watching all their concerts ^^;

sorry for jumping in, but i believe that kiseki and kako(konseki) are different songs. the only version of kiseki i have is from baystorm, and it's definitely not kako. could be wrong, though -- it wouldn't be the first time i downloaded a mistagged .mp3!

Yeah, you're right. When I read lyrics for Kako/Konseki some time ago, the translator made a mistake and called it Kiseki, so ever since then I've mixed the names up sometimes. Yeah, Kiseki is a totally different (but still good) song that he sang from Bay Storm ^^; Didn't mean to call it Kiseki in my comment, thanks for pointing that out!! Y

hey there!
as far as I know, Tell me what you wanna be was never released on a CD. Jun sang it at the Arashic con and one more a year later or so, but no official record of it.

Sketch is a pretty old song, it's on the 5x5 album

You should check here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arashi_discography#Albums). Seems like it has a complete list of all singles and albums and if you click on the album names event he songs listed.

To answer your question :D

Sketch is a song that written by Arashi themselves, to celebrate their 5th year anniversary, kinda like 5x10. You can find this song in 5x5 The Best Selection of 2002-2004.

Kako (people often refer it to Konseki, since the Kanji can be read this way, but NIno himself insisted that it's Kako/Past) is an original song written by Nino. It's sung in Izaa, Now concert.

Tell Me What You Wanna Be first performed by Jun during their first Arashi Around Asia Tour (Taipei and Seoul), but I'm still unsure whether this is his original song or he just do a cover.

Hitsuji wo Kazoe is sung by Aiba in All or Nothing concert (or maybe you know it as Join the Storm concert).

If you need Sketch and Kako, I have it. Just ask if you want me to upload it :D

is kako the one nino sings where he plays the guitar?

I think it's Yume you're talking about. Because when Nino perform Kako, his thumb was injured so he only sing this song in Iza, Now concert without the guitar :D

I'm pretty sure Sketch was only given to 100 randomly chosen fanclub members when 5x5 was released, so you're not missing it or anything. I've also heard that it was included in the 5x5 LE DVD set, but no ones confirmed it ^^;

Wow :'] I was just thinking a few days ago about the same.
I'm an Arashi-newbie myself :p [also became fan since last summer, thanks to internet]

What I know about Kako is that it's a lovely song which I'm obsessed to at the moment and its a Nino solo and was song in a concert (don't know which one though)

The same with Tell me what you wanna be, it was sung by Jun :)

About the other ones I don't know. ^^

Sho and Nino do (or did, in Sho's case) have songs that are not recorded on their albums, or performed in concerts.
For example, Sho had the original "Pen no Sasu Houkou" series and covers like Black Eyed Peas' "Where is the Love?" on his Sho Beat. Nino also covered some of my all time favourites like GReeeeN's "Kiseki" and Aqua Timez's "Ketsui no Asa ni".
Sorry if I did not answer your question. ^^; Pardon me for spamming then, haha.

just butting in....yeah! love those songs you mentioned too.... and nino's version of Aiba's solo song "Friendship" and his jazzy rendition of "Nice na Kokoroiki"

wait, nino sang the songs in his radio show right?

Date: 2009-10-21 05:04 pm (UTC)

Yes, those are from Bay Storm too~ <33 Oh, and there's also Nakashima Mika's "Orion", heheh.

you're right! i love Mika's Orion and nino's cover is ok actually....

how often does he sing songs in his radio program? or he doesn't do it anymore? i don't usually download their radio programs....

Sorry to say I'm really not sure. I only managed to get some Sho Beat, as for Nino's covers, they are only clips on YouTube. I don't really follow their radio shows. >

Nino covers a lot of songs, since the MMA era :D You can try collecting them by searching through google. As long as you know the title, you can get the mp3 :D

Most of their old solos and sometimes new ones like Jun's "Tell Me What You Wanna be" were not released in the albums. They only started having solos as part of the albums from 2005's ONE (eg. Rain, Himitsu etc.)

Besides "Sketch", all the others have been played only during concerts.
idk if someone ripped the audio files from concerts, otherwise you'll just have to watch them in order to hear those songs ^^

Btw fa piacere trovare un'altra fan italiana qui in giro XD

Green is another song that Arashi wrote (or was it just Sho chan? I can't seem to remember) that was never released. This song was aired during Touch! Eco Week and Arashi also performed it at last year's Dream "A"live concert. But sadly again, the DVD for Dream "A"live Concert was never released. How I wish J-Storm would release this DVD.

Some people already answered correctly....
well, there are a lot of songs that are not recorded for many people,
"sketch" is a song for 100 fun club members, and"Green" is only for "dream-a -live"concert....and there are many sho's original songs that is aired on radio, and nino's original and cover songs that is aired on radio, and also "only love(aiba ver.)" is aired on radio too.
maybe i can't explain all here...
but if you want that files, you can contact me.
I have already uploaded that files before,so I can help you and give you the files.

"only love(aiba ver.)" is only one song that aiba aired on radio, and Jun and ohno haven't never aired original songs.
I heard that aiba's "only love" is with aiba's frinds of musician(sorry,I can't remember).

I have tons of nino, sho, jun, aiba, and ohno solos that are either ripped from their radio shows or the live itself. Great site hope it helps!

PS I even got Sketch from there
