just wanna post here some information about Nino's international movie about WW2 to be release in 2006.. can't wait to see this movie! ^_______^

Red Sun, Black Sand is a film directed by Clint Eastwood & scheduled for a release in 2006, though it may not see release until early 2007. It is a complementary film to Eastwood's Flags of our Fathers.

Plot outline
The film will tell the story of the invasion of Iwo Jima during World War II from the Japanese viewpoint, as opposed to the American viewpoint depicted in Flags of our Fathers. Almost like a memoir of one of the Japanese soldiers, it primarily follows the story of two good friends serving in the Japanese forces. The men watch helplessly throughout the various battles as their comrades die in battle, many of them becoming almost suicidal.

What I really want to know though... is this going to be a mainstream movie in America? Cause if I could go to the theaters and see Nino on the big screen... holy snap. That would be awesome.

i think so. it's a clint eastwood movie.. and that guy who starred as a leading man in the memoirs of a geisha is also in this movie w/ nino. the fact that it's a steven spielberg movie, and under dreamworks and warner bros? i doubt that they wouldn't release it here in the states. so i think they will.

cant wait cant wait! i keep thinking about this movie, and how bad i wanna see it! nino supposed to be a kind-hearted nice character, and also supposed to have a girl back in japan (cant remember if its his wife or just gf...) and from the summary you found i think it should be him and another guy who are the main characters right? cuz they're the only two who are just soldiers and not a general or wtever. ....and ninos name always second so he gonna be one of leading roles.. *trying to stop hyperventilation* AHH!!! so excited!!! <333 but im pretty sure this gonna be totally sad movie and he'll prolly die, cuz most all soldierd died in iwo jima right?... T_T... but want to see in theaters SO bad! ^^

yeah it's going to be a sad movie.. it's World War II.. what do we expect.. it was really terrible esp in japan.. u know.. atomic bomb in hiroshima.. *shrugs* but.. ahehehe.. nino will be in the movie so no matter how slow the movie is or how terrible.. i got see it in a big screen ^_-
