嵐、音楽DVD史上初の40万枚超え　3年半ぶり歴代記録更新

今年デビュー10周年を迎えた人気グループ・嵐の新作DVD『5×10 All the BEST! CLIPS1999-2009』（10月28日発売）が、11/9付DVD総合ランキングで初登場1位を獲得した。自身最高初動の42.8万枚を売上げ、KAT-TUNの『Real Face Film』（2006年3月22日発売）の初動37.4万枚を上回り、3年半ぶりにミュージックDVD歴代最高初動売上記録を更新。ミュージックDVDで初めて初動40万枚を突破した。

　同作は、8月に発売されたベストアルバム『All the BEST! 1999-2009』に続いて発表された嵐のデビュー10周年記念作品。1999年のデビューシングル「A・RA・SHI」から、2009年の「明日の記 憶／Crazy Moon～キミ・ハ・ムテキ～」までに制作されたミュージックビデオ（MV）に「Lucky Man」を加えた彼ら初のMV集（DVD2枚組で全31曲収録）。同ベスト盤は、同日付までに134.0万枚を売上げており、ミリオンセラー作品として話 題を呼んでいる。

　続く総合2位には、EXILEの 『EXILE LIVE TOUR 2009“THE MONSTER”』が初登場。22.3万枚を売上げ、前作『EXILE LIVE TOUR“EXILE PERFECT LIVE　2008”』（3月発売）の初動21.4万枚を上回り、自身最高初動記録更新した。

This seems more logical to me than the scores of the best-of album. After all, if you've got every album, you're sure to have every track there is on the best-of excpet for one. Whereas the PV weren't always sold, and most of the time only on the limited edition single; if you wan't to see them again (and you don't know about internet or you'd like a better image quality) this dvd is necessary. Even I bought one! xp
