Really? I think Sho's acting is really good. Especially in The Quiz Show II. I was BLOWN AWAY by his performance in that drama. And this is coming from a Nino's fan here.

Sho is my favourite amongst them but I just can't stand his acting even in TQS2 >///<
Maybe its a matter of preference but I love my actors to make me forget that they are "acting". I still love the man dearly but its a pain to watch him ACT especially conveying complex emotions. Probably because he's a Showa expression kind of guy.

I'd have to agree on that one. I adore the guy, but his acting...not so much. It's just so obviously 'acting', if you know what I mean.
That said, looking forward to seeing this. Maki is really pretty- looking forward to seeing a different type of role for her.
And comedy should suit Sho just right! =]

I agree too. Ohno, Jun and Aiba also did the obvious acting bits as well. Although Nino also had done "obvious acting" mistakes, it is lesser in comparison with the other four. That's why he's my favorite actor in Arashi. He doesn't make me cringed as much XD

I don't mind Maki and Sho. Hopefully it'll be an excellent love scene. Both are mature enough to handle some love on screen so please no half-ass effort for that particular scene.

Same here. I actually thought he was not very good in Yamada Taro (he looked like he was trying too hard to act cool and not very natural), so I was afraid he would be the same in Quiz Show 2, but he actually surprised me, he improved a loooot!

Thanks for sharing, so I guess they already started filming. I wonder when the promotions will start for this drama. That outfit really suits Sho, really Sho like. Maki's role seems to be different from her previous roles she played so it be interesting to see. The whole thing about "love scene"..yeah I don't think it will be a big deal maybe kissing...who knows but I think the media likes to over emphasis these things. We just have to wait and see!
