Very excited for Arashi. I'm just wondering, as Music Station is in TV Asahi, where Uta no Oniisan was shown, and that Kumori Nochi, Kaisei is the second side A of the top grossing single of the year, would that song also be performed in an Arashi medley even if technically, that song was sung by Yano Kenta starring Ohno Satoshi? I really believe that one of the reasons Believe/Kumori Nochi, Kaisei sold so well was the novelty of owning a Satoshi Ohno single.

no idea what they are going to perform ._. it wasn't a surprise (at least for me) to see them on super live, since it would be really stupid to invite all other groups and not inviting the jpop boyband topgroup of the last 2 years XD and arashi performed last year as well (if i remember correctly xD). I thought they would only not perform on music station if they have somewhere some bigger events xD So super live wasn't in danger, just the countdown maybe cause of kouhaku D:

omg i would die if they are going to perform kumori as a group xD i love ohno's kumori solo xD But i would like to experience that song as a arashi group song <3 at least one time *__*

but I'm think it will be something like believe, crazy moon or ashita (not sure since crazy moon has to cooler performance, but ashita "sold" better, or it has more fans in my opinion XD) and maybe MY GIRL of course, since it's the theme song for aiba's first lead role drama? XD And these are the top 3 now xD

I'm curious as to how you know that 'Ashita no Kioku' sold better. Other than knowing it's more liked because of ratings or that it was performed more by Arashi, how can you measure it's success since they're sold as a double A-side single? Or was it also sold on its own?

no ^^ i don't have any special reasons to say this, but somehow it's just a feeling, and as it's mostly like, that drama theme songs are always more popular within the fans then other things xD (If i'm right cray moon was a CM song right? XD not sure about this XD)

OK, thanks for your explanation. Your reasoning makes perfect sense, I guess a song like 'Ashita no Kioku' would have more meaning and be more memorable because of its use as a drama theme whereas anyone who hasn't bought the single would possibly only have heard 30-sec snatches of 'Crazy Moon' when it played during the CM.

But then again, 'Kitto Daijoubu' was also a CM song, wasn't it? And even though I don't get the impression that Arashi perform it so much now when they perform medleys, that song is the ultimate Arashi ghei/crack song (I always smile when I think of Hirai Ken fanboying Sakurap!), just like 'truth' is the ultimate Arashi song on the other end of the scale.
