Help Finding Shops

hi~ i am going to Orlando, FL mid-january to visit my family and i was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere down there that sold arashi or japanese items? like any bookstores or anything like that? i would really appreciate the help!

I live in Orlando, Florida and there aren't really Arashi items though (from what I last seen). :3 But, there are Japanese items if you head in the Downtown area. :3 There is an anime store though, called Florida Oriental Trading; this is the address 1217 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803. It's mainly like Asian pop music (like Vietnamese, Chinese, maybe some Japanese but I'm not entirely sure) but a lot of anime and manga.

Around that area (Mills and Colonial usually), there are plenty of Vietnamese grocery stores and some of the stores usually do sell goodies like food and cds. Phuc Luc Tho (._. I'm not really sure how you spell it, but to find it, it's near Barnes and Noble and you keep going down until you see some statues of dragons), there are Asian snacks around there and cds (but i don't normally check it out since @_@ I'm mainly buying groceries there and snacks).

Urm :3 That's pretty much all I know. Though if you do head to the grocery stores, I have to say that, be prepare for the smell. 8D It smells like Durian, fish, etc. . So if you can't take the smell, *_* be prepare. LOL

Yeah, I agree with all of that. Florida is pretty much lacking in anything J-pop related, especially Arashi.

The closest thing you could possibly find would be Mitsukoshi in Epcot for Japanese items (at inflated costs, of course) but definitely no Arashi.

yea i live in florida too, not many japanese stores...i'm mean i really haven't ventured out too much to know for sure but... yeah, it's pretty depressing.

i think ive been in that area before with my family. my aunts husband is vietnamese, so he always loves going to that area. me, not so much, since the smell of durian makes me gag, haha (im a bad asian >_<)

Not at the Japanese Pavilion at EPCOT. :sad face: I was there two weeks ago and asked the girl there, and she said, "..you know Arashi? You mean, the Japanese idols?"

It was cute.

This post doesn't help at all, but does alleviate some of the sadness that the lack of Arashi in DisneyWorld brought me.

LOLLL thats so epic!! omg!! but i just got back from florida and went to epcot too.. i had my arashi bag with me but i guess no one noticed... lol i should have asked for arashi stuff too XD but i spoke japanese with one of the ladies and she was like "O___O ehhhh!!! you know japanese?" XDDDD hahaha

but damn yes i agree!! disney world orlando should be like disney sea and call Arashi over and get them to perform together:D LOL!!!

but the funniest thing happened at epcot XD i was wearing my satoshi necklace while in line to meet jasmine and went i got to talk to her she was like "oh who's that?" and i was like "its my favourite japanese singer" and shes like "oh!! he looks fierce" LOLLLL XDDD i was laughing for so long XD

I used to be a cast member in Florida, and can honestly say that Aladdin probably would not be able to kick your ass. ._. I'm just saying.

i bought it in japan^^ but sadly the day after jasmine commented on that i lost the picture from the pendant, so now i only have the chain part so i have to attach my own new picture D: i can see if i have pics of it elsewhere tho and post it for u hehe

oooh thats really kool^^ yea its awesome, this was my first time being there actually but i loved it:D im back in boring canada now lol

yea:( i blame my brother >.< cuz the next day at hollywood studios cuz of my brother our fast pass was gonna expire for tower of terror so we had to like run to the ride and then when we got to the ride i noticed the pendant was gone T_____T and the retard that i am i never took pics of the necklace on its own D: but its a really simple necklace... its just one of those regular ball and chain ones with a pendant and it had this picture on the front
