A little questions about Sho-chan and Yokoyama yu !

hello everyone...
I just wanna ask about Sakurai sho from Arashi and Yokoyama yu from Kanjani8...
are they close friends or something ? what kind of relationship they have ?
is there any pics for them together beside the pics related to their drama " TQS " ?
it's ok even if they were in there J.R days <3
if one of them mentioned the other in any interview please do tell me
I hope someone could help me, and thanks in advance!

Sho and Yoko weren't very close at all as juniors since they had different circles of friends. Sho was closer to people like Koharu Yuki (who has long since left Johnny's), Tsubasa, Nino, and Jun, whereas Yoko was much closer to the Kansai juniors (eg. Hina, Subaru), plus Aiba and Nino. I'm sure they're much friendlier to each other now that they've worked on a drama together, but from what I can tell they haven't exactly become best friends since then.

They mostly mentioned or talked to each other during the TQS2 promotion period, when they did a slew of magazine and TV interviews related to it. Off the top of my head, here's a good magazine article that featured a cross talk between them:

I honestly can't remember seeing pictures of Sho and Yoko together outside of TQS2, but maybe someone else might? Hope that helps!

Like what acidae said, Yoko being from Kansai was closer to Hina, Subaru, Ryo etc. and those he is close with on the Tokyo side is Aiba, Nino, Toma. Sho was more of a senior so they didn't have much interaction.

in the poster's defense, this is not exactly a popular topic or something so asking a question and having people answer with the knowledge they possess is more efficient. besides, i find nothing wrong with someone simply asking a question and the people that answered didn't seem to mind as well.

As previsously said, since they starred together it seems they doesn't have much interaction. But Shô always mentionned he is, himself, an easy-going person. (and very corporate, too, so he wouldn't badmouth his kouhai... even if he's 1 year younger ;) )
Since then, Shô said he listened more carefully to Kanjani8 songs and he visited them during PUZZLE TOUR. You'll find some photos with Shô wearing Yoko's uchiwa in his belt... <3

Erm, they were kidding obviously. As mentioned by others, Yoko, Hina, Subaru(?), Nino and Aiba were close to each other during their junior days (taking baths together and stuff), Ryo is good friends with Jun and Nino and they all had quite a few collaborations together (especially this past year). There's a lot of namedropping in YokoHina's recomen of both groups complimenting each other back and forth, and lots of reminiscing of the junior days spent together (YokoHina used to freeload at Nino's and Aiba's when in Tokyo because they didn't have enough money xD)

as dogangel22 said..there is nothing wrong asking a simple question..even it is a simple question everyone have their own different opinion..and even most of us have same opiinion but surely different way of writing the asnwer and i found it interesting reading different way of writting the answer..well.if you really don't like the question..why bother to read and why not use your real username instead of Anonymous?

People ask what they are curious about, what they want to know. Theres nothing wrong. Theres a reason why there is the 'Question' Tag there you know.. And theres no rule (according to my knowledge) stating that you cannot ask 'Weird' questions. What is the definition of weird, really? What makes this question so 'Weird'?

If you think the questions are strange, you should most probably skip over the post entirely. Commenting like this doesn't really make a difference.

And BTW, Google might be an awesome Site but it doesn't really provide the information we need. :)

I suggest the next time you see a 'Weird' question ignore it. :D

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking question of things that one is not familiar with. As my teacher once told me, No question is a stupid question. And to me, i don't think this is weird nor stupid, but just something that needs clarification. I myself also wondered about sho and yokoyama yu, so i don't think that there's anything "weird" about asking this question.

If you don't like reading these questions and find them weird then skip onto the next post and leave no trace.

I recently read one of those magazine boards they have where Yoko addressed Sho as Sho kun, Aiba as Aiba chan and then Nino just Nino! Lol, You could tell the degree of closeness they have just from that right?

thanks for asking this question, i love to see all these weird questions, its something i've never thought/ cared about but once its asked i become intrigued, well i guess we al know a little more about them after such questions XD
