- Arashi got the #1 spot in two categories during the first half of the year (#1 single ranking for "Believe/Kumori Nochi, Kaisei" and #1 DVD ranking for AAA 2008), which hasn't happened since Utada Hikaru did it for a single and an album in 2001.
- Arashi got the #1 and #2 spots in the single category for the first half of the year ("Believe/Kumori Nochi, Kaisei" and "Ashita no Kioku/Crazy Moon"), which hasn't happened since GENJI did it in 1988.
