UPDATE

Arashi, Challenge week, updated with updated information and producer’s diary. Content of mirror experiment announced. “get across Japanese islands!! Can be invisible man if covered whole body with mirror?” Experimenters: Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya. Persons following up: Tetsuro Degawa & Miyu Uehara, This time “Mirror man odd trip in Tokaido (Eastern Sea Circuit between Tokyo and Kyoto) Best stunning vista point in Japan, no.1 well known castel with that, Big experiment of “Can be an invisible man in extremely famous spot which everybody knows? Or can’t?” 10^th anniversary gorgeous mirror man Aiba shows up. But on site filming day a typhoon was hitting. In the worst weather condition! A crop of various happening, it is exactly off travel. Producer’s diary; Yesterday, I watched final of “Mayonaka no Arashi” slumbers in warehouse of Ninon TV library. I was not charged Mayonaya that time. So I wanted to check the contents of “Mayonaka no” which was most memorable for members also it may connect any idea of “Arashi week”. Honestly I was interested in the change of members too. The project was riding by bike in relay getting across Japan from Kyushu to northern tip, Erimo cape. All included MC (Hatori announcer) made goal. Members’ visage is (naturally) young (But Nino-chan hasn’t changed a lot, I think.) Half are teenager and way of speaking is younger than now (grin) it was refreshing. My impression is; chummy of Arashi members, kindness of each member and fulfilled feeling that is easy to be touched haven’t changed at all. I announce again that past Arashi “Nihon TV regular 30 min. programs” from warehouse re-airs 7 programs for Arashi week. We planned this program for young fans who don’t know Arashi’s 10 year history and people who got interested in Arashi recently. (sorry for the people out of area, each channel has different circumstance for midnight programs. It was hard due to broadcasting system.) Airing time is late around 3am. Please enjoy history of Arashi. Also a bit stupid and fun scenes at “C no Arashi!” “D no Arashi!” G no Arashi!”. We will re-air 7 programs. (BTW DVD called “C x D x G no Arashi” gathered Arashi’s stupid experiments is on sale. This is fun too.) We think 7 programs will be referred the survey “That time Arashi I wan to watch again” you participate. Please advise us.
Clockwork Umbrella aired on Arashi Discovery today.
Kohei Uchimura-kun (the gymnast Aiba-chan interviewed) makes the eliminations on top of “London artistic gymnastics world championships 2009” Next Himitsu no Arashi-chan new section called“welcome to Ara-orchestra shop, the Karaoke shop Arashi appears”. It was filmed at karaoke shop. When general client put Arashi song without knowing anything. Arashi goes into this client’s room. But Arashi has to sing all of best 5 songs at Karaoke. Sounds fun.
Cyzo, <From Smap to Arashi steadily advance a generational change, Aiba got 9.6% at midnight time frame> average audience rate of “My girl” which started on air 9 October was 9.6 %. This was talked before airing as it’s Masaki Aiba of Arashi stars. This figure must be pretty good as it started 23:15. Audience rate of “Kochikame” TBS drama aired Saturday 20:00 of Shingo Katori, senior of Johnny’s agency was 8.9 %. Although it’s midnight frame, it exceeds senior of prime time drama. As group Jun Matsumoto, Kazunari Ninomiya and others already star various dramas as leading role. For Aiba this is first leading role at 10^th anniversary of Arashi. It seems anticipated value of fan is extremely high. 210,000 applied for 1,100 capacity fore premier preview. This figure must make happy not only himself but also fans. BTW this time frame Satoshi Ohno starring “Uta no Onisan” marked average audience rate 10.76%. Aiba remakes 9.6% for 1^st episode. Can he overtake leader Ohno’s record? Anyway they compete audience rate race in high level. Actual generation change seems soon.
