For people who have been around since forever, please bear with me while I tell a little story!

From July 11th, 2005 to July 13th, 2007, I was one of the creators and maintainers for a_ra_shi. We started it back when arashi_on was deader than dead, and we were lucky to get even one post in this community on a good day. (Plus, it had an ugly default layout.) It was a small but cozy community where friends were made and people enjoyed themselves.

From July 16th, 2007 onwards, due to a difference in opinions between another creator and I, I became a maintainer here at arashi_on and eventually became the sole maintainer and owner. For many people, I was probably the only mod you ever knew about, if you even knew what the name of its mod was at all. Over the years, arashi_on ballooned in membership and now boast over 20,000 members (!).

Why am I waxing poetic all of a sudden? To cut a long story short, after seven years, I have come to the decision to resign as a maintainer for arashi_on by the end of August.

The reasons are entirely personal, and mostly has to do with the fact that I simply do not have the time to devote to modding anymore. I still love the group and treasure the friends I have made over the years... but as my schedule grew busier and busier, I came to realise that in order to do the best that I possibly can, something has to give.

I won't be quitting right away, so no worries about that! This is basically a heads up that I will be leaving, and to let you guys know what my plans will be over the next few months, which is as follows:

- I will be putting up an application post for anyone interested in modding arashi_on and leave it open from June 23rd to June 30th.
- July and August will be spent training whomever I end up picking (most likely two trainees). I'm going to be very hands on and strict with it as I want only the best for this community, so please be forwarned!
- I will say my final goodbyes on September 1st.

No matter how early or how late you were in becoming a fan, the Arashi fandom has seen more than its share of ups and downs, and you no doubt were part of at least one of them. Some of you watched as Arashi began their climb - then rocket - to superstardom; some of you joined precisely because they were everywhere; and still more of you are just joining now, lured in by the sparkles and rainbows and good-natured grins of five guys who genuinely seem to like one another.

Regardless of whether I'll be modding or not, I have confidence that arashi_on will continue to thrive all the same, just like the group itself. So let's continue to keep this community in order and enjoy our last few months together, okay? ♥

Shiyagare cut part by audiences. actually not much cut part as this air for 2 weeks.opening. Aiba-chan drama episode. S: is it hard. A: hmm. S: is it hard your schedule? A: it has sort of appearance chart. when I don’t appear I have vacant, but I have interview at this vacancy luckily. / O-chan drama. S: how about you, you do drama as well, O: yep, I do all day long. that lines ※▲◇◎ S: you can’t say even this. S: I have a lot of line, the dat I have lines I say all day, and the day I don’t have, O don’t have at all. N: certainly your lines were long. S: what so you do when You don’t have line. O: I come to like this (sleepy face)  M: you should not. S: do it properly. O:  however I memorize difficult lines. this comes to by narration at airing. why (open his arm like musical). N: can you do this again? S: say to camera person. M: why you say this at NTV not FTV? N: tentatively say this. O: (go close to camera) show me!! Fujiki-san or Ohkura-kun. when they said Ohkura. 5 of them makes face:??? / before reumor section, they count “5,3,2…” at cheat sheet it written 水泳 (swimming) S: hold on, isn’t it 競泳 (swimming race), he revised it as “representative of swimming race of London Olympic games” then shooting was re-started. / Seems Sho-kun and Kitajima-san hair make up artist seems same. as he said “I want to Kitajima-san come again after Olympic game. “ this make up artist said “seems Kitajima-san is free now.” /

NTV 3 consecutive Olympic game news caster> Sho Sakurai (30) of popular group Arashi is appointed to main caster of London Olympic live airing show. this is 3 consecutives Olympic game news caster after Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010. he starts report from opening ceremony and report from site “final match of 100m backstroke” of Kosuke Kitajima (29) who he builds intimacy with. only Sakurai can be Olympic game of NTV. Sakurai who have reported sports scenes as caster of News Zero since June 2006. Reason to hire according Masanori Matsuhara Olympic game producer “he beforehand reads documents, he reports athletes with respect mind. and he passes it to TV viewer with him own word that is easy to understand.” He builds intimacy over 10 athletes such as Kosuke Kitajima, Ai Fukuhara (table tennis) , Kyoko  Hamaguchi (wrestling)  through Olympic game report. “he has good reputation.” Sakurai who got big role again “at Beijing Olympic game, firs time I experience Olympic game, I could feel a lot of sensation and excitement with my skin and reported it. “London in 4 years.” I spend days thinking so, I feel so honored.
