Riida's eye

So this is really worrying me.. What happened to Riida's eye? In some recent promotions and some of their shows you can see Riida wearing an eye-patch. I first saw it during a promo and I though it was just for laughs. But then I see it again on HnA for the start of 2010. I tried looking around if there was an explaination or announcement but couldn't find any.

Anyone willingly to tell me what happened to out Riida? =D

If I remember correctly, he had a sty or something, but that's all taken care of and it's fine now.

He actually explained it himself in the first Himitsu episode where he was wearing the patch. ^^

It makes you wonder, you know? how does one receive an std in their eyes? ...which led me to all kinds of fun thoughts about Ohmiya being experimental but I'll stop here for now. :X

It's a stye. They're actually more common in young children, but leader's pretty much a kid. They can be triggered by lack of sleep, stress, etc. I've had one before. They're not awful, but REALLY ANNOYING. It's like constantly having an eyelash poking inward or something.

I've never heard they are especially common in children. It's like having an ingrown hair but in your lashline. Nothing serious but it doesn't look good.

Well, that's what my Aunt told me when I asked her about it. She's a Doctor. She said it's usually infants who get them, but they CAN and do occur at any age.

i got one before too. a few months ago. but i didn't wear a patch. more like i left it alone and only got to the doctor when it's nearly healed. (i'm lazy i know. *sigh*)

Just like everyone says, it was a sty.
But HnA is pre-recorded, so that's why you saw him still wearing an eyepatch in the recent ep. He's been okay for the past month now~

HNA episodes r pre-recorded so dats y he still had dat eye patch on.
Moreover I tink they do recorded a few episodes together so we do still c the patch arnd.
But he's fine now and the best evidence is Best Artist 2009 whereby the patch is taken off. So dun worrie!!
When he went for the game section in Waratte Iitomo
his eyes were all right already. =)

they said the patch is some kind of an allegy..but a friend of mine from japan said that riida got that patch from fishing..maybe his eye was hit by the fish pole..LOLZ XD

totally worried me like hell
