Translator Note:

(1): I think he’s referring to relationships in general; you show your gentle side to someone but then the relationship ends so you become lonely.



And I'm very happy to post this song, it's my favorite song on ARASHIC so I was happy to finally translate it.

Translator Notes:

(1): Literally: “from that time” – I think the implication here is that the girl has forgotten her dreams; she’s probably somewhat depressed and has given up so Arashi’s singing this song to cheer her up and help her.
(2): That’s literally what the line translates to, I debated on whether I should just write a line for the meaning but decided against it. I think it just means that aren’t you okay just the way you are (even if your dreams, etc are small).
(3): The whole song is a metaphor for a train; Arashi’s going to rescue the girl and run away on a train and Sho’s telling her to grab on to those plastic rings above your head that they have on the trains in Japan.

just a note though:
'I like you so much it’s weird' perhaps "it's strange that I like you so much" might be a better translation? I dunno. Either way, it seems an extremely odd line to place right after the 'awww'-inducing 'You've always been my treasure' line.

I love caramel song. It sounds so darn sweet and IS so darn sweet <3 Nino.

I translated it as that because "kurai" means "to the extent that" so "to the extent that it's weird, I like you." Thank you for the input though. :)
