Sho's new movie

Sho will be in a movie called Kamisama no Karute (based on a book), release next year. This is Sho's first role as a doctor/physician. The female lead will be acted by Miyazaki Aoi-san. Working with the same team who produced 'Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu'.

Based on Sho's comment in the article below (not sure how I should translate it), I believe if you are a sensitive person, it's very likely the movie is going to make you cry.

Although I'd rather it was Ohno or Nino acting with Miyazaki Aoi (as those who are acting with her have to have tremendous acting presence or else will be eaten up), I think Sho will manage okay with good direction.

Miyazaki Aoi is known for her acting skills. She, along with Ueno Juri, are the two young actresses whose acting skills I never doubted. She truly shined in Atsu-hime amidst the star-studded cast. KimuTaku tried to work with her more than once and she declined. She chooses based on the script offered, not the co-star. I have mad respect for this woman.

I am really glad that the rest of Arashi are now able to work with TRULY talented actresses and not just the cutesy or "in" ones. It will help them grow as actors.

This I agree. :) It's all good. :) Like you said, having the opportunity to work with great actors and actresses is a great way for them to expand their experience and skills. I'm looking forward to this movie. Came out of left field, didn't expect it. lol I was expecting he'd do another drama, but I guess with Arashi being in the middle of their concert tour when he starts filming, maybe it will give him more flexibility in the filming since they dont have to shell out episodes every week like a drama.
