[MOD] re: Birthday Masterposts
Jun. 17th, 2010 05:09 pmHey guys, this is just a quick reminder once again to please post all birthday-related celebrations to the Birthday Masterpost provided for this very occasion. It does not matter where you live and whether it's still Nino's birthday in your timezone. It does not matter how much effort you put into your birthday offering either; whether you made icons, subbed videos, or translated articles, everything is equal and will be deleted/rejected from the community over the next few days.
To prevent these offerings from disappearing amidst the 200+ comments made to the masterpost, I have compiled a list of all the things people have made or done to celebrate his birthday and added it to the entry. It will be updated as new comments come in, and this practice will also continue in all future birthday posts. Hopefully this will cut down on any discontent people may have with the masterposts. I don't think any of us really expected these posts to grow so much (can you believe that the first ever Birthday Masterpost in this community only had 49 comments?), and I do hope this way of doing things will be more convenient for everyone.
Thanks for the attention, and I hope you enjoy what others have done in celebration of Nino's birthday! (again, the link is here for those interested.)
