Heading to Chiba

I'm studying abroad in Chiba, Japan this semester (Sept-Dec) and was wondering of anything Arashi I could buy/do there.

I'm so excited that I got accepted and I'm going to Aiba-san's hometown! (^^)

I lived in Chiba for a few years. Other than Aiba's family restaurant there is not too much. BUT depending on where you are - Tokyo is only a short train ride away... then you will be in the same prefecture as Arashi at least!

Congratulations! I'm excited for you :) I just got back from Japan and we made a trip out to Chiba to eat at Keikarou! It was exciting, and if you're looking for something Arashi-related there is nothing more legit :Db

One thing to keep in mind is that when they say go straight out of the station they really mean straight out. Like, as soon as you exit the ticket takers walk across that little thing that looks like it could be a bridge and turn left at the street you run into :)

Also, if you're thinking of going with a group of people you can make reservations as long as it is for more than 5 people. We weren't able to make reservations but we went on Thursday at about 6:30 and got seated right away.

I can't help you on the Arashi-part, but I got very interested when you said you were going to study in Chiba from September to December, because so am I! Well, in Togane city in Chiba-prefecture, not Chiba city.

I went to Keikorou also. Be sure to go at lunch when Aiba's mom is hostess. She doesn't work dinner usually. She was SUPER nice to us and looks just like an older female Aiba!! So awesome!

Harajuku isn't that far from where you are staying so the Johnny shop is there for you :)

Keikarou is somewhere that you should go to because it is Aiba related lol (literally)

I think the fanclub place is not too far either so if you want to go there as well!!

Oh, and if you do decided to visit Keikarou, come early! I went there last summer and it has an awfully long line. And most of the customers are Arashi fans.
And yeah, Aiba's mom looks just like Aiba^^

I was just about to ask about Johnny Shops near Chiba, I need a Uchiwa (Ahh but who? Aiba or Nino? They're always fighting for ichiban!).

There is a fanclub place somewhere where I can't remember but Johnny members puts up messages on the message board, videos of Johnnys etc...

It's like a place full of JE stuff :D

Aiba's restaurant is in Chiba, and of course - Tokyo is only 450 yen away (or less) ^_^ I'm going there in August for 10 days trip! allways wanted to see Tokyo and around it!

yeh, it's even easy for the Japanese to get lost in Tokyo...
if you want travel info, try this site: http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng/index.html it has a lot of info about tickets, stations, places, etc.
