Sistic Poll
Jul. 20th, 2010 05:27 pmHey all!
It's been quite a few months since the Sistic 'What do you want to see?' poll has been up, and it's finally coming to an end this July 2010! Arashi is currently at second place (21%), just a meagre 4% away from SNSD/Girl's Generation. Do take the last 11 days of July to vote as much as possible with all the email addresses you have so that our dream of watching Arashi live in Singapore could actually happen! Sistic will try to invite the winning artist to Singapore at the end of the poll, and we could always do with the help of a willing and prominent local company in making it happen.
Vote on people!

Date: 2010-07-20 01:38 pm (UTC)But Sistic wouldn't try to invite the winning artist, nor will they do anything about it. I actually wrote them an email to ask. (T____T)

Date: 2010-07-20 02:00 pm (UTC)It's been going on for ages, as I've heard from the fans at jefc_sg (arashi), and nothing has been done yet. (because I made a post like yours there too, a couple of weeks ago! ^^)
The representative replied this:
The polls are meant to gather information as to what concert goers would like concert organizers’ to bring artistes or shows to Singapore . This information will be presented to relevant parties who may consider the possibility of organizing concerts or shows that has the most votes. It is not necessary that the most popular artiste or show will be realized.
We seek your kind understanding that SISTIC is only a ticketing agent that manages ticket sales on behalf of organizers. Concerts and events brought in to Singapore are organized and managed by concert/event organizers.
Which just means that unless JE says yes, nothing can be done. And SISTIC will not be doing anything. It would be good though if we have contacts that can help us make this work. But through SISTIC, it's almost a zero chance (T___T)

Date: 2010-07-21 12:47 pm (UTC)Anyway, johnny's would most probably organise their concerts at larger cities!. But we shouldnt give up hope! It may happen someday! And i think all fans here will look forward to that day^^
Thanks for sharing this with me btw!

Date: 2010-07-21 03:47 pm (UTC)Haha, I can't say I'm not a little disappointed at SISTIC's reply. But I guess they really can't do anything...and especially it's the kr wave now (like you said). ^-^
