A little update on Chaka-san’s daughter below for those who are concerned.

それでは出発します。面舵いっぱーい。そうそう、順調ですよ。では反対に船を左に向けます。・・・ん？面舵の反対って何だっけ？？
So I’m heading off now. Starboard full force. Yes yes, things are going smoothly. So I shall turn the ship to the left… Hmm? What’s the opposite of starboard??

さて、船首を左に向ける時の舵の取り方を何というでしょうか？
So then, how do you call the way of turning the wheel to make to ship go left?
