Hi~

After realising there are so many Nino fans out there... o_O (I'm pleasantly surprised ^_^) I've decided to give away my extra Ohoku promotional flyer~ just tell me why you like Nino in one sentence by this thursday (5-AUG-2010), 11:59pm Japan time. Please also mention the country you're from in your comment. ^_^ All comments will be screened.

Edit: Btw. as usual, the flyer will go the the person with the best answer ^_^ and I'm not giving my answer because I'm being very biased with this post in that I will most probably give the flyer to someone who actually likes him for the same reason (I doubt there will be anyone who likes him for my reason though...) x

Why DON'T I like Nino? He's snarky, mean, loving, caring, sweet, insecure, rude, hateful and above all, real. We get this impression of him on TV and in interviews that is so completely vague. All we ever really see of Nino is this mask that he puts up. When when that mask starts to slip, someone so complex and full of life is beneath it, I'm almost taken aback.

He'd be fun to argue with. He's pocket sized. He's got literally the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen in my entire life. His mole. He's got this smile that lights up a room. He's mean to his kouhai (and sempai alike). He loves his bandmates.

I could go on. XD; I'm from the US, btw.

I love Nino-chan because he could manipulate the world and capture everyone's hearts by being an amazing actor or singer, but instead he decides to be a prat, dork, and idol with Arashi.

Hi, I'm Rae from Indonesia.
I want to share my love for Nino... I could say that it's because of he's bratty or he's such a great actor, but what makes me like Nino is because of his love for Japan. I forgot where I read or watch it, but Nino once said that he could be famous in Hollywood if he tried hard, but Japan is his country and he wants to be big in that country (at least that's what I remember ^^). is that consider a sentence? oh well, like I said I just want to share my love for Nino :D

This will probably be the craziest answer you'll get. Mind you this is a bit tongue in cheek. I'm not actually insane, just American.

I think it's the Japanese air. Maybe that Nino releases a pheromone that alters your mind and makes you love him. I was not a Nino fan at all until my first trip to Tokyo. It was right after those oh so yummy photos in Cut came out (Sept '08) and I had seen the scans online before I left. I didn't see what all the fuss was at the time. When I walked out of the hostel the first night to go to the conbini around the corner, I picked up a TV guide with Nino on the cover. I bought it and the one next to it also with Nino on the cover. I didn't understand. Why? Why am I buying these mags with Nino on them? I didn't even like the cocky little punk.
Next day at the Johnny's shop, my hand was marking the boxes for pic after pic of Nino. I even bought the AAA'08 Nino uchiwa. In the idol shops on Takeshita, I was buying posters and feeding 100 yen coins by the handful into the phone strap vending machines trying to get a Nino strap. (I didn't get one but I did end up winning a Nino mirror, woo!) I had Nino fever. I even braved Akihabara to hit all the magazine and bookstores I came across to find that issue of Cut I had dismissed before (since I couldn't find it in Harajuku, Shinjuku, or Ikebukuro).
It's the Japanese air, I tell you.
Why do I love Nino? I think for the same reason I didn't like Nino. He's a whiny, cocky, smart ass, with a romantic heart full of poetry. (and a giant dork)

Hello~ now that submission of entries is over...my reason for liking Nino is because I like how he wants to have more friends, hee, like how he learnt magic tricks to get people to gather around him and how he wanted to be reborn as MatsuJun so that he could get late night calls from friends...totally understand how he feels >_< Strange reason eh? Anyway, I will announce the best answer either tomorrow night or saturday morning~ ^_^
