Hi guys, I just have a tiny question.

My last day in Japan is going to be on the 21st and I won't be able to go to the concert. I still want to be able to get some con goods before my flight but I have no idea when the goods start selling. I hope someone can help me with this!

Thank you in advance :D

(I'm not sure how to tag this, sorry)

last year,
I went to line up at 8AM.(booths open at 10AM.)
around 12AM I stand in front 1st booth (Pamphlet,Bag,Mobilestrap)
and finish bought all goods at 2PM. OTL

If you have limited time. That hard to get some goods.

The booths open at around 10AM. If your flight is early, I wouldn't recommend lining up at all unless you're willing the take the first train to line up because from my experience, it took more than 3hrs last year. I have no idea how long it'd take this year though, as it isn't their 10th anniversary but I can't imagine that it'd take less than 2 minimum.

The 2hr wait is just the first line. There are other lines once you enter the goods section. So... I would highly recommend that you give yourself 5hrs minimum for the shopping since you have to consider the transportation time to Narita as well and check in all that jazz.

Same as what everyone said above.

Also, the 2-hour wait is ONLY when you get into line an hour BEFORE the booths even open.

I would advise getting into line (or at least showing up at the venue) at least 2 hours prior to the booths opening, if you wait to cut the wait time shorter than that.

I'm not sure about Arashi, but I've been to a different Johnny's concert before, and if you show up 10-20 minutes just before the concert starts, there is usually little to no wait at the good's table. (Because everyone is lining up to get inside the venue instead.)

Can anyone confirm whether this is true for Arashi?

yup
if you go when the concert is on cos they keep the booths open, there is no wait at all (coming from 5x10 tokyo dome experience)

I went to Nagoya with a friend last winter...we started queuing at noon, we arrived at the 1st booth around 6pm...So if you really want goods, maybe you should consider starting early ^^

Opening hours were different for each day, I don't remember what time it opened

Kokuritsu wasn't terrible last year. I actually got in line around 1:30pmish and was out of there by 3pm.

Last year, I went to Kokuritsu the day BEFORE the concert at 6AM. Like everyone said, the booths open at 10 but they started a little earlier. Even at that time there must have been several hundred girls in front of me.

I got to the booths in 30 minutes, but JE started a new system where you have to line up for each kind of goods you want. So that's pamphlets and penlight in one line, then uchiwas and photos, etc. etc. That took forever.

If your flight is early, I wouldn't recommend trying to get goods before going to the airport.
