Hey :)
This weekend I'll go to japan with 2 friends, and we (or more like ME xD) want to visit the VSA Arashi Park <3
So I still have some questions here :)

My [livejournal.com profile] coolnat466 already gave me a brief summary of this page : http://www.fujitv.co.jp/uso2010/pop_arashi.html <3

So I basiclly know that I can't take photos, that I have to get the tickets at 9am / 8am at FUJI TV ~

And so on ~

But there are still a few questions :D
I hope someone can give me more details like:

~ I can get into the Park without a ticket? That means I can see everything, just can't play Rolling Coin Tower right, then I don't need to get up early to get a ticket there?
~ When they say 8am, I HAVE TO arrive there by that time to buy a ticket?
~ Is the ticket number per day limited ?
~ Rolling Coin Tower is a game for 4 >o< So what if we are only 3 D: Can't we play then, or do they add someone randomly?
~ The place where they show goodies and photos, are they directly together with the park, or somewhere else (like at fuji TV station?)

Well these are the question I can think of :)
I'll be grateful for any other informations *O*

1.) Yes, you can get into the park without a ticket. You're free to walk around, look at the booths, and buy stuff to eat :)
2.) No, you don't. I went around noon and I got a ticket for a slot at 3:15.
3.) I don't think so. They have special time slots and when it's your time, you line up according to the number printed on your ticket and wait for your turn. :) For example: if you get the first ticket in the 3:15 time slot, you'll be first to play in that group. If you're 100, then you'll wait behind numbers 1~99 XD There were people in my group who had numbers way past 100.
4.) They'll find someone who's alone to add to your group.
5.) There's a white tent that says VSA and a TV that's playing a video of Arashi explaining the rules. The props are in the tent and you also play in there and line up outside :)

Have fun! It's hot and crowded most of the time so be careful :D

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help :) Hahaha yeah XD And it takes about an hour to get there from Shinjuku :'D

Agh yeah. It was terribly hot every single day when I was there :/

Not really! My friend and I had trouble finding the actual Odaiba park itself so we followed some people and they brought us right to the place XD Once you get to the park, you'll see the tent. There should be a staff member with a handful of tickets standing in front of it so if you go up to him/her, he'll/she'll probably hand you one :)

Ohh I see! :)

I hope you have tons of fun on your first trip! When you take the Yurikamome, if you see a lot of kids, then you're on the right track XD And the sights you see on the way are really nice too!

The booths are outside of the Fuji TV building.

♥ No problem :D

Good luck! It shouldn't be too hard. If you make it to Daiba station/Odaiba Kaihinkouen and don't know where to go from there, just ask someone. They'll most likely know and will help you out.

Hahaha I was sooo nervous when I played. My hands were shaking x___x Even if you don't win, you still get a VSA sticker teehee.

Hi dear!!! <33

I'm not of very much help, since someone else already answered your questions thoroughly :)
But just for you to see: http://maps.google.es/maps?q=odaiba&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:es-ES:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=es&tab=wl

You can see perfectly well the different stations from which arrive to Odaiba, and if you can spot Fuji TV on the map, VS Arashi tent is just in front of it! (between Fuji TV building and Aqua City building ^^).

Hope you have fun there! Take pictures and tweet them for me to see! ^0^ Also, take care, and drink water! It'll be very, very ,VERY hot there!
Since is August (holidays period in Japan), and on weekend, it'll be EXTREMELY crowded! I went there on the last holidays weekend of August, previous year, and streets were all jam packed. So much, it took ages for me and my friends to move around. But even so, the day was quite entertaining (and we could see the giagantic Gundam, which was pertty amazing *_*).

Enjoy this weekend, bb!!! I'll wait for your news about it! :3

Hehe, don't mind then for the pics. I don't want you to be scolded for me :)
Glad you find the map useful! *ureshii* Uhm, if you're not sure about which train to take etc, I think this wwebs shoudl be useful as well.

http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3008.html <- Just go to the "How to get there" section (If you hv time, just take the Yurikamome, since it has beautiful sights from the train ^^)

http://www.hyperdia.com/cgi/en/search.html?dep_node=SHINJUKU&arv_node=DAIBA%28TOKYO%29&via_node01=&via_node02=&via_node03=&year=2010&month=08&day=07&hour=20&minute=18&search_type=0&search_way=&transtime=undefined&sort=0&max_route=5&ship=off&lmlimit=null&search_target=route&facility=reserved&sum_target=7 <- I chose the "Shinjuku" and "Daiba" options to see the available routes for tomorrow (since it's saturday, and you can get an approximated idea of the train timetables). The web is pretty good and accurate. I used it to travel around Japan last summer ;)

And, maybe you didn't guessed it, since it seems I hv so much free time, but... I'm at work, yes! :D:D:D (god, I'm such a lazy ass... XDD)

Yay,, I feel so happy being useful for a friend! *O*
I LOVE Hyperdia! So damn good! I used it also to go to Chiba. Are you plannign to go there, too? ;) I would.

Uhm, you're quite right, kyokyo! Work means money. And that's how I'm getting my iPhone (OMG! *_*) and the trip to Tokyo next November. Sad you decided to go now to Japan... If you'd go later on we could hv met up there T_T
But we will anytime, anywhere, ne? ^-^

Ooooooh, if you hv to leave your home that early, you should take a rest! How many hours takes the airplane to get to Japan? (you can sleep during the flight, I did XDD)

Hv lots of fun dear!! I can't wait to hear from your adventures there! <33

Oh, may I ask you a favor, if you can? *puppy eyes* could you please pick me paparazzi pictures from the Kokuritsu concert on August 30th (I mean the one from previous year, under THAT rain), if you see them? I wanted to take them, but I couldn't since I was leaving to Spain the very next morning T_T
Oh, god, I'm a selfish person! Don't mind it, ne? I'll try and find them this November, after all I'm definately going ^^ #savemykyokyo

Yep, my iPhone!!! *OOOOOO* I'm getting it tmr from the phone shop! I'll take pics of it, and Tweet them (if I discover how to upload them there Lol!)

I'll try and go to both Sapporo concerts with a friend of Bu and me :) And if I find cheap tix (impossible task) also to any of the Tokyo ones ^_^

Yeah, stalk it dear!! And also, if you hv internet connection stalk je_sales. I saw tix for last year Koku at 10000 yen there! (though I was too slow, and miss them XDD Thank god bunny found someone with an extra ticket, gotta love her so much! <3) And also the stadium. If you're lucky maybe you get to see them.
It would be like me: see the concert, the very next day, back to reality and out of Japan! xD

Reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!?!?!? OMG, thank you!!! I thought maybe they could be found at Takeshita ido shops in Harajuku, since I saw there pics from Dream-A-Live, and Time tour o.O
But anyways, thanks for trying, my dear!!! #hugkyo

What... W-what photobook are you talking about, bb!?!?!?!?!? Me waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaants!!!!!!! +w+

Date: 2010-08-07 11:30 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kawaii-solemia.livejournal.com
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll buy that photobook for sure!!!!! *runs to CD Japan* Thanks for the pic! ^^

Don't lose faith, girl, you may find affordable tix. As much as I'm concerned, if I see anything, I'll give you notice ;)
(did you take with you your cell-phone? If so, you can give it to me through MP (here or through Twitter, and I can text you from mine, if I see anything. That way you'll know asap ^^)

I'll go with another friend if we find tix. We're aiming for both Sapporo dates. But if we find for the Tokyo Dome, we'll also wanna go (obviously, ne? XD)

Thank you very much for looking for these pics. I really hope you get to go to the con (or at least to have fun waiting to by the goods... I waited last year for 6 hours!!! xO)

Have looooooooooooooooooooooads, of fun, really! I know you already know how Japan is, but since it's the first time you go, I guarantee you, you're gonna love iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!! ^0^

*loads of biiiiiig and arashiiiiiiiiic hugs on my behalf*

since ur questions r pretty much answered..i'll just give u more details on it to maybe make ur life a bit easier..tickets r limited in a day..as for the opening weekend..i got there at 9 for both days..waited 2 hrs in line to find out tickets r all gone..so in the end i waznt able to play it booo...but best of luck..it should be fine now that itz weeks in n not the first 3 days

in order to get there..the fastest way would be to take the yurikamome monorail to odaiba..the price from shinbashi (which is where i transferred at) is 310yen i believe..n the view is quite nice on a clear day also..u get to go over rainbow bridge n get a good panoramic view of tokyo

theres also the 5th floor of fujitv where they show pics n stuff from certain tv shows thats kinda like a mini museum n u can walk around n take pics there..there r also windows where u can look down into a studio..but u cant record of take pictures of that..but u need to go up those long fujitv esclators to get there..the confusing this is..the escalator takes u all the way to the 7th floor where there r additional elevators to take u up that giant ball observatory thing n the gift shop for fuji is also there..but to get to the 5th floor..u need to go down the escalators after getting to the 7th floor

like others said..itz verrrry hot n crowded..but other than that..have fun...let me kno if u need more info or ur unclear about n e thing

np!..yea the tickets r limited but itz still better to go fairly early so u actually get a ticket for a decent time instead of one rly late in the afternoon..on my last day there b4 i flight..i got there at 830am after waiting 3 hrs..i could only get a ticket earliest at 5:20pm..my flight waz at 6..so there waz no way i could play

which stn r u starting from..just final the simplest way to get there n it should be ok..i came frm asakusa stn so i just took the ginza line to shinbashi then got out to take the yurikamome..yes..get off at daiba stn then walk down the stairs n once u exit the gates..make a right..walk down a flight of stairs..n make a left..then walk straight..fuji tv is right infront of u..

for the rollling coin tower tickets..u just need to head towards the vsa tent n around the area there should be staff holding up a sign that says vs arashi on it just go up to them..ask for a ticket n it should be a breeze from there..if u cant find the person with the sign..just ask n e staff "vs arashi chiketo wa doko desu ka?" n they'll tell u where it is..all the staff r wearing the united states of odaiba shirts or sumthing..u can easily tell

oh n wen u take the monorail..stand on the left side so u can get a good view of the outside.just b4 u get to daiba stn..u'll pass fuji land..n below on the vsa tent..on top on the tent u can see the big vsa poster with arashi on it..n thats alwayz a cool pic of have

From: [identity profile] 5peedy28.livejournal.com
from ikebukuro..jr yamanote to shinbashi then yurikamome would be the best way..\

if u can try to go on a weekday rather than a weekend..cuz that way..students r occupied with skool n adults have work..so it'll be less crowded..n if u have time..do rolling coin tower early..then u can take the monorail back..except get off at shiodome n visit ntv..they have the ntv expo going on right now that has the arashi ni shiyagare display..n if ur still up for fandom..head to akasaka n go to tbs where the mannequin 5 display is still there..voting is over but atleast u can play games from other shows there n see stuff

itz very straightforward so i dont think u'll have trouble finding it..generally u can take pics outside..but wen ur inside..u cant take pics..most places around the park will let u take pics unless u see a no photography sign..or if theyre doing a show on the stage..then there'll be staff holding up signs that says no photography..u can try to act foreign n try to take pics of certain things..n the most they'll do is just tell u to stop

nice..i just took whichever line waz convenient for me since i didnt buy a rail pass..night buses around cities worked out better for me

yea..i guess thats true..but considering adults have work..thats a chunk of the population that wont be there haah

shiodome n shinabashi stn on the yurikamome is like a block away..i like getting off at shiodome cuz then u just get out n walk across this little skywalk bridge thingy..n ntv is to ur left..u can see the miyazaki hayao clock..n sumtimes they film tv shows there also..then u go down sum escalators n thats where lots of things r..either way it works

mannequin 5 is displayed until the 12th i believe so u can still see the displays but atleast u wont have to wait 2 hrs in line to vote

np! haha more like i completely stalked je in general all around japan haha..i waz just there about 2 weeks ago n waz there for 5 weeks..so everything is stilll very fresh..but yes..my last few days were completely dedicated to fandom stalking ahah

Date: 2010-08-06 09:55 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] 5peedy28.livejournal.com
ahah yea there is a shiodome stn..the yurikamome n the oedo line both have a shiodome haah

it'd be better if u have a general idea of where u want to go to in those cities..then u can just find ur way around rather than wandering aimlessly..since u dont have that much time..i think u'd wanna do as much as u can in those two weeks

theres lots to see in kyoto n all the sites r pretty far apart also..get a bus pass if u can..500yen for unlim bus rides for the entire day...awesome deal..wen ur in osaka..if u want awesome cheap food..go to hankyu sanbangai..itz below the hankyu subway stn just north east of osaka stn..itz like a maze of food stalls n small restaurants..just dont get lost!

yess..too bad u cant see a con..but arashi kokuritsu wouldve prob costed u arm just to see them live..i paid lots for my tegomasu ticket but not enough to have my starving for the rest of my trip

Date: 2010-08-06 11:35 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] 5peedy28.livejournal.com
ahah thats ok..i waz with a friend who waz a guy n totally oblivious to japanese male idols..for a week n half..n i just dragged him everywhere

but rly..wen in doubt..just wander alone..since i waz there pretty much by myself..just split for a day trip to do ur own thing if it doesnt all work out

i kno itz ridiculous how much fans r reselling their tickets..but yea since kokuritsu is an open stadium u can hear from outside..n if the boys r flying..u may get to see them from outside also!.. since itz ur last day there..if u have money left..y not splurge it on con goods..it'll be worth it

good luck n dont get jetlagged! u can pm me if ur ever there n have fandom related questions to ask ahah..have an awesome trip

Hi, most of your questions are answered but I just wanted to address no. 2/3 and no. 5.

2) According to the staff I spoke to there, you should try to reach around 8am, especially in August, because most of the tickets are distributed out by 9am since August is when most schools have their break.Although, in July, when I went around noon, they still had tickets for 3pm, but I'm sure it's better to play on the safe side. ^_^
3) Yes, the tickets are limited per day.
5) There is actually more than one place where you can see stuff related to vs Arashi. One is obviously the tent, the other, you need to take the escalator behind the tent all the way up, you will pass an entrance to a exhibit, take the escalator back down to access the exhibit. Photos and information about vs Arashi can be found as you walk down this exhibit. I think they had a small wall on it...obviously not as grand as the tent though. At the end of the walk, you can get a MatsuJun free paper, if they still have it...

Hope this helps!!
