Hi everyone! I'm a filipino arashi fan living in Thailand and I would like to ask you guys where I could buy arashi albums/cds here in Thailand. So do you other thai fans out there know any shops that sell arashi albums?? Actually, the album i am looking for specifically is the latest one, "Boku no Miteiru Fukei", but I'm not even sure if thats being sold in thailand right now.

And if there are no shops here in thailand, then do you guys know any good website to buy Boku no Miteiru Fukei or other arashi albums?? I've heard of HMV(?), yesasia, CDjapan and stuff but I would like to know which is the best one. And also, I'm kinda new to the fandom so can you recommend the best albums/cds?

Thanks in advance!! ~

Hi, I'm Thai
first, i want to say that Arashi used to have a copyright in Thailand
but now they don't
so, there's no Arashi album in Thailand after .. maybe 'Aozora pedal' or 'Love so sweet' single (i'm not sure but i think it is)

Hi! I'm not from Thailand but just in regards to the best website, i'd really reccommend CDJapan! It's very reliable and ships very quickly! Unfortunately though it's the first place anyone goes for Arashi stuff so most of the limited editions are sold out very quickly! Usually you can get the LEs on YesAsia in that case but i'm not as fond of that website because i find the shipping to be very slow!
That's just my opinion anyway!!

Also in regards to cds and dvds, i'd defentely recommend the All The Best Album, as well as the 5x10 Concert Tour DVD! They're amazing. Other than them, i'd recommend the Time Album, Time Concert DVD and the Arashi Around Asia 2008 Concert DVD! That's just my own opinions but i hoped i helped!! ^^ Welcome to the fandom!!

Hello, I don't think there are shops that sale official JE stuff here much or may be there are but i don't know
I think most of johnny fanclub here buy stuff from online shops and so do I.

Some people use cd japan because it cheapest but for me I recommened the middle man shop.
You don't have to worry about anything if you use middle man shop, unless you have a bank account here, because it pay by tranfer money.
I'll give you links if you're interested, but please aware that the language is all Thai.

And about the newest album, most of the shop I know all sold out the first press, almost impossible to find it right now.
Maybe a little middle man shop might have one, but who's really know about that.

Hope that this might help.

I'm also in Thailand and using online service to get the stuff. I suggest you to use Yes-Asia cos it's free shipping but I think you know that service already

Well there's several shop at Siam square that you can order the stuff but the thing is I don't know where exactly it is cos i'm not in BKK though

You may try this website http://www.j-buffet.com/ or http://www.kenboard.com/board/ also. It's J-pop stuff for Thai ppl service sth like that . Find their mail and get them!

Hi, I'm Thai, nice to meet you!
Yes, there used to be a Thai-copyright version of ARASHI singles and albums but they stopped it after Aozora Pedal.

Now feel free to correct me if I get any info wrong, lately I haven't buy anything coz my friend in Japan bought for me, so things might have already changed.
There're two ways you can get the cds.

1. Through the middle man. Mostly they're operated in the forum/blog/website and communicating in Thai. There used to be a shop at Siam Square called Ishimaru that acted as a middle man to order stuff too but now they targeted Korean artist so I don't know if they're still doing Japanese order or not.

2. Order from websites like yesasia/hmv and such. This might be the most convenient method for you. Just beware that the custom sometimes levy import tax from sent items like this. People got it randomly, I don't know why or whether they're still levying or not. But I've heard that if you have them labelled as gift they'd get through fine.

Hope this might be a little help =)

Hi there! Pinay din ako. :D Anyway, I'm not in Thailand, but regarding your question about which shop is the best one, between Yesasia and CDjapan (I haven't tried HMV), I recommend CDjapan. Their prices are lower than Yesasia's and you earn shopper points for every purchase (1 point = 1 yen). They also reward you with a 500 yen coupon each time, that you can use for your next order by simply answering their surveys. Their customer support is really prompt, too and the customer service representative I talked to was very friendly and helpful.

Yesasia isn't bad, though. They offer free shipping and/or free toy if you reach a certain amount, but I've heard a lot of people saying shipping is very slow. In my case, my orders arrived on time even with the free shipping. But I've only used it once, so I can't say for sure.

That's just my opinion. I hope it helps. :) And oh, I also recommend the 5x10 Anniversary Tour Concert DVD and Arashi Around Asia 2008 DVD. ♥

Ingat!

--Now that I read it, it sounds confusing. What I meant was, everytime you answer their surveys, they reward you with a 500 yen coupon. They send the survey to your email.

There are i think 4 or 5 shipping options in CDjapan. If you choose EMS, then definitely it would be very expensive but if you choose the cheapest option which is SAL (around 410yen), most of the time it will be less expensive than yesasia. The downside of it, though, is it takes too long for your orders to arrive. But if you're willing to wait a few weeks, there should be no problem. I always choose SAL. hehe.

On the other hand, Yesasia may turn out less expensive than CDjapan if you order a total of $39,because by then shipping is free. But if you order like only one single + shipping, it'll turn out more expensive than cdjapan.

Just a warning, by the way, be aware of the customs laws in Thailand, because you might end up paying a large amount once your orders arrive . In the Philippines, they only tax the package if it is $100 and above, so I always make sure I order less than $100. :)

Hello~~
^^...like other said there are 3 way which you can choose to get Arashi stuff by yourself.

1.middle man
2.online shop

One of middle-man I'm use to order is "http://www.kenboard.com/board/index.php?act=idx"
and I think they are the best ^^)b but Arashi's reserved Single &Album are limited (about 25-30 pieces) and will completely full in 1 day when they open reservation.

Now my friend live &study in Japan so I made Arashi order to her instead ^^"

If you live in BKK you can find some shop in SIAM SQUARE,there're EXAMPLE & P'TAR shop.
- EXAMPLE is located on 2nd fl. of LIDO Multiplex in SIAM SQUARE
- P'TAR is located on 1st fl. of the building opposite MBK (near BONANZA)
I:SHIMARU is now mainly sell their magazine you can made special order but I think it's not good.

Hope this will help you~~

I'm just want to give you some information about import duty and VAT charged by Thai Custom when you ordered CD or DVD online. If you order from CDjapan or HMV-japan, the price of the CD/DVD will stated clearly for the custom so mostly if it over 1000 baht there will be charged around 30% tax. So you have to go to pay it at the post office and pick up your CD/DVD.But order from Yesasia, they send from Hong Kong so most of the time they stated as gift and not show the actual sales price. So you may not have to pay import tax & VAT but price is a little bit higher than CDjapan and HMV and take longer time to deliver to you as they are free delivery.
For me this time I order from HMV online my copy arrived Thailand yesterday but unluckily the custom tax and VAT cost me 600 baht more over the japan sales price. Hope this information help!

Hiii

I'm also an Arashi fan living in Thailand! ~

The only place where Arashi albums are available[in BKK that is] as far as I know is in bonanza[sp?!] which is like opposite to MBK -->> I think it's somewhere around the first or second floor and it's opposite this huge manga stall/shop.

I went there like last week and they had the 5x10 all the best DVD! But it was 2000 baht and I didn't have enough money with me at that time T_T Best albums are[obviously] 5x10 since it's got all the good songs. I also saw 'TROUBLEMAKER' there as well - not to mention Arashi Around Asia flip-flops[there was only one on sale]

The stall/shop mostly sells singles now and half it's got K-pop since J-pop isn't so popular in Thailand now. I was in Siam Paragon also and when i checked the CD store there were HARDLY any Johnny's[let alone japanese artists] albums or singles. I managed to get Yamapi's [Yamapi & NEWS still seem to be popular] single 'LOVELESS' and there was also NEWS' 'SAKURA KISS' single there as well.

I asked one of the staff peoples on duty about any arashi albums but they told me that there is no Arashi copyright in Thailand anymore and they've stopped making like 'Thai editions' of the album and stuff due to the fact that it's all about K-pop now. As far as I know, Tackey & Tsubasa and NEWS, Yamapi and maybe Kinki Kids still have their copyright in Thailand.

Hope this helped.

hi there!
i'm not thai, nor do i live in Thailand, but i've visited there a LOT since i live in a country very very near it.
The last time I was in bangkok, i went to Siam Paragon, and, believe it or not, they actually sell official JE albums! I saw SMAP concert dvds, Tegomasu singles and their first album, NewS CD's, and Yamapi's Loveless, to name a few. I actually bought from the store which sold them, and the lady gave me a free NewS poster advertising their Color album!
it was amazing! I asked if they had any arashi, but they said they were out of stock. ):
i don't know if you can get arashi there, after what the people said above, because the CD's i bought were Thai-licensed.
if you want to try, however, it's a shop full of CD's with the Paragon label on it. It's somewhere in Siam Paragon (i forgot orz), but I think it's the mall's CD store. Right before it is a DVD place, which is part of the same shop. It's not inside the actual store though, but the store is right in front of it, and you can tell that it's the CD store because..
well you can see a lot of CD racks and things. c:''
i'm sure you could find it if you asked! Good luck!
