Well I don't know it's ok to post this but I know the Taiwan press for Boku no Miteiru Fukei will be out on 20th Aug according to avex Taiwan
5musicTaiwan (it's Taiwan's answer to HMV as there're no HMV shops in Taiwan from what I know & they do have physical CD shops scattered all around the country) already listed the album for preorder as early as 2 weeks ago
http://www.5music.com.tw/CDList-C.asp?cdno=431445679192
5musicTaiwan listed 27th Aug but they haven't update their link with the Taiwan press catalogue no. & etc
I preordered it immediately on the 1st day 5musicTaiwan listed it for sale & unfortunately or not , the amount has been raised by them from NT388 (S$16.44+) to NT418 (S$17.71+) now & this amount's excluding registered airmail shipping .
You must know how to read Chinese (as 5musicTaiwan do not have any English translations at their website) & also use credit card as that's the only form of payment they accept .
5musicTaiwan's only form of shipping method is registered airmail since in general Taiwan postoffice are quite unsafe to a certain extent .
At this point in time , they still have 1st press copies of the album but it's quite safe to say this will be gone soon .
Ah sorry for rambling on X_X but this's for those who cannot afford the Japan press but would like another alternative in getting the album :)
for me , I only will be billed a mere S$24/25+ in due time when 5musicTaiwan shipped my copy & my friend's later on this month when it will be released & it's 1st press somemore so no complaints on it <3
I don't mind waiting a bit longer to get the album where I can save 1/2 if not 2/3 of costs if I compare that in getting the Japan press D:
HMV HK already listed the Taiwan press for the album via preorder & they only take credit card for payment too
http://www.hmv.com.hk/product/product.asp?sku=91754
YesAsia will do that soon but both outlets's charges will be more expensive than 5musicTaiwan since you have to pay the extra costs for the album to be sent from Taiwan to their head offices in Hong Kong before the album arrives in front of your doorstep

Date: 2010-08-07 04:08 am (UTC)that's the only extra thing you get but other than that , avex taiwan will produce the same thing as what you get in the Japan press
those song titles in Japanese will be changed to simplified Chinese , I'm not sure for those with English song titles but it's something that I don't mind in avex Taiwan doing that

Date: 2010-08-07 04:19 am (UTC)The Japanese Yen is forever not working in my favour & I find it ridiculous if not daunting to pay so much to get Boku no Miteiru Fukei D:
I rather wait a bit longer & get my copy at 1/2 if not 2/3 of the cost of a Japan press
it apples for all their other material too , including most recently for To be free in which 5musicTaiwan still have 1st press available for it at their website :)

【初回プレス仕様】
☆プレミアムパッケージ
☆スペシャル歌詞ブックレット(60P)封入
if you preorder it now , you definitely will get the 1st press & even 5musicTaiwan stated 台壓初回限定版 as so in Chinese
if it's the normal/2nd press , it will be 普通版 instead

Date: 2010-08-08 07:56 am (UTC)I think it's extremely reasonable & somemore it's 1st press limited edition too with that 60 page booklet & for a 2CDs album , it's also saying something
