Question Time: Concert Registration

Guys, I need your help. (Arashi FC Members will probaby know exactly what I'm talking about.)

A few days ago I received mail from the Arashi FC saying that for guests who are going to Kokuritsu Concerts this year, a special *registration* is being conducted, whereby ticket holders need to register their own name + phone number + member # + seat #, along with the names and phone numbers of ALL the people they are going to the concert with.

The stated purpose of this is that if there is a change of plans/cancellation, the FC can notify us.

And then after that, it says that this is also to prevent the abuse of/selling of tickets to third parties, etc.

The question is, does ANYONE know what this is all about? Is it likely to affect people who are buying tickets online? And if I am the ticket holder and I want to do this registration just in case, where can I do it?

I have checked the Johnny's fanclub webpage, and I can't find a place where I'm supposed to do this. There is also no link in the body of the mail I got, so I'm pretty clueless.

wow. I'm scared to death. will it be like that for ALL this year concerts? as I planned to buy ticket online for tokyo dome. i'm now in japan, but i came too late to become a fan club member and ballot for tickets :(

In the mail, it's written that the detailed information about how to register will be sent along with your ticket.

In recent previous balloting, there were also some registration stuff. I completely forgot the old ones, but at Aiba's butai last time there was a table at the theater where we can give them the paper that came with the ticket and show our ID. There was no harm done to those who didn't register.

This is just me and my friend's assumption, but registering means that it serves as a proof that you are really using the tickets you won by your account (and not reselling it in auction etc) so it probably will increase your chances in next balloting as they know you are not doing bad stuff. I'm sorry if I happen to be mistaken.

I hope it is like you say... What the hell. First time I really spent SHITLOADS of money and then this?!...

I mean, there is no way they are checking on every ticket at the entrance, but cancelling seats would be BAD. Then again, it's merely one week.


Just imagine a fanclub-registered ticket holder having no time and getting their seats cancelled.... Doesn't sound very JE-ish to me. They tend to announce every important detail like 100 times in advance and that's F**** IMPORTANT!

I hope it is as you say T___T (It's not as I wouldn't have had tried the legal way, anyway *clinging on her member card*) ...

That's one of my problems >.<

I was out of town when my tickets came, so my host family took care of my mail for me. I asked them to open the envelope and call to tell me where the seats are, but I forgot to ask them to keep EVERYTHING including the envelope... which means they kept the tickets and threw out everything else 0___0;;

I-I didn't see this orange sheet, at least...

But the registration is done on that day, at the 会場？

last year a bunch of tickets were black listed after they appeared online... and they were posted on the official Johnnys site. Those tickets were void and those FC members lost out on balloting ability for the next round of stuff.

As for the registration, that happens with Kokuritsu because of the weather.
Last year it was supposed to rain the entire weekend, but somehow, it only rained on the last day. They ask you to register your info to check if members are actually using their memberships, and also because they will contact you if the concert gets postponed.
