Original album got no.1 for 2 weeks in a row is first time since debut for Arashi. Total sales is exceeded 856K adding this week 125K.

After solf shooting Ninomiya-kun is back to interview place from shooting site. The interview place was back of Ohno-kun. The moment he passes by Ohno-kun who has interview. He stops for instant and approaches Ohno-kun without a word, he tickle neck of Ohno-kun then smile then goes to his seat. Ohno-kun who was tickled was just allowed to that. he got look confused for instant, he continued to have interview. he hasn't say anything while that. There's slow atmosphere of 2.

Shikao Suga (musician) blog. tell me Shikao-chan, I see the name of Hideaki Sunaga in Arashi PV who often shoot your PV. Is it same person? If you request make is cool like Arashi it going to be like that? A: Actually it's Arashi who is cool. however Suga Shikao does same, it becomes PV of Suga Shikao. if Mr. Sunaga shoot Arashi with my PV concert, I think it would be cool Arashi's PV without doubt..

Cyzo <too scary? strained atmosphere of 3 groups of Johnny's  talent at Music Station> what I point out today is Music station aired on 13 Aug.. It was a special episode that 3 groups of Johnny's talent. Smap, Tokio and Arashi were gathered. The members are just like Johnny's fest. but the context is full of sense of urgency in great fear. I'm afraid a little of Nakai 's low spirits that no smile no talk, but before all most tremendous impact is a star, Kimutaku. Masaki Aiba of Arashi started to talk about his spiritual experience, because of seating position I see Kimutaku back of MC Tamori. His face looks frightening.. Maybe for him he must sit coolly with usual star face. Is it because his face is too beautiful, or his strong eyes, It seems glaring. It seems like frantic he gets irritated by air-head's talk. Then Arashi's turn came, once audience screams "Kya!" ,Kimuraku turns around to chat with others. This must be his smooth-face. On the net critic voices appear one after another "Smap terrorize their juniors." "feel sorry about their juniors.""Kimura, don't glare!" "They give too bad impression." and others. On the net this frame goes even to Perfume. Nocchi who has strong eyes. "She glares Kiumra." maybe they don't have other intentions. But this strange atmosphere. It seems except Aiba, they talk less, they seems contraction-minded. Interruption of kind of "Country side bro. talk" by Tokio. this looks they make peaceful serving as a buffer between them. Audience can't stop thinking about hierarchical relation, and popularity position and various back grounds. it was just like "summer Johnny's courage test special" that feels sense of tension. Among them only just smiley and friendly Masaharu Fukuyama who doesn't have any complex  relationship and tension looked a good person. What I most curious about is Tamori who doesn't care at all about complex Johnny's power relationship and supervision just pass off the talk of Johnny's talent and doesn't listen seriously. He asked the question "How the leader of Arashi was selected" that was aired hundred times. However it was Tamori asked, His attitude is just like he is not interested in it.  but once he started "Sake talk" with Masaharu Fukuyama, it gets endless.  His difference of temperature toward person makes even pity  Kimutaku who was seen glance juniors feels .  It seems he enjoyed to meet Fukuyama his drink buddy in the atmosphere with mixed feeling. The persons who gave thrill were certainly 3 groups of Johnny's talent. (hum interesting...)

Err. the water, it seems if you boiled once than you freeze it, it's not easy to melt, yep. It seems so. well, err. I know this kind of tips a lot, yep. if the three groups are interacting and talking less during MS (i said 'if' coz i have actually yet to watch it) it's probably because arashi was conscious of the fact that there are two senpai groups with them and they would probably want to appear low-key in respect. on the other hand, SMAP and tokio probably understood that the spotlight had moved on to the younger group and sat back as well so TA-DAH, subdued atmosphere~

i wouldnt say takukimu was being consciously unfriendly~ when i think about it, i hardly ever see him smile other than in dramas, but then again i dont watch SMAP xD

Haha i love kimutaku and watch relatively a lot of SMAP(of cos Arashi is still my fav). I feel kimutaku might have been just slightly a little tweeny bit, so call "unfriendly". But, this is what we get if we have 3 JE together on MS HAHA.

yeah i am super excited at first for MS because 3 of my most fav JE group is together but really shocked to see such an intense and scary atmosphere there 0_o

well i love Kimutaku but he can be such a big diva and big superstar aura which can intimidate people especially his kouhai like Arashi lol so not that surprised to see him act that way since he rarely smile anyway^^;
well the only kouhai that he seem to like is Tsuyoshi Domoto<3 and Kame only and beside that he does not seem that interested to interact with other kouhai...
even the always happy Shingo seem cold:(

but i am most disappointed with Nakai because he look the most gloomy and in such a bad mood when i expected he would talk the most and interact with Arashi T_T
the only time he being playful is with Tachi only^^;
kinda hope at least backstage they would still talk with Arashi and the intense atmosphere only in front of camera because of their big senpai koihai gap so it hard for them to show their friendliness^^;

luckily Fukuyama Masaharu seem really nice and having fun^^
yeah agree with Cyzo these time, Tamori keep asking the same question which everyone already know and does not seem interested to interview Arashi these time, well at least he make Ohno talk a LOT :P

Everything about this MS was SAFE and boring. No new topics, no new answers when we know how relaxed Arashi usually is especially since they appeared with the other 4 guests a lot of time. It was the most anticipated MS but then fails to have any interaction at all.

I wonder if there were no SMAP, would the atmosphere be totally different.

I really have to say that SMAP was a big old wet blanket that was putting a damper on things. We know Arashi and Tokio can be much much more baka, and can discuss more spicy, pink topics on MS. I do appreciate how the two groups behaved so un-idol like, not acting cool and aloof, they were all smiley despite everything. I bet they gained the admiration of more casual viewers by how they carried themselves and how they performed. MS staff should research more as the topics they talked about have already been discussed ad nauseum in the past.

wow, concert rehearsals seem tough with a lot of changes still being make. i hope everything goes well this weekend! :) excitedly looking forward to various fan-reports!
hmm, the atmosphere was indeed a bit heavy in MS, but i thought it was kinda because there were so many well-known stars, and no one really know where the spotlight and focus is on, so nobody really talked a lot. Arashi definitely toned down as compared to their usual MS appearances, but like someone mentioned, probably out of respect (and a bit of intimidation XD) to all the senpais there. no big deal, i still enjoyed watching the show! :) and moreover a guy from funkymonkeybabys blogged abt kimutaku being kind to him, so i dun think he was unfriendly or whatever XD

i saw an old MS clip with with SMAP and kokubun & domoto tsuyoshi (promoting fantastipo) and kimutaku really looks serious...and nakai was talkative coz he was teasing kokubun about dancing...and i have an image of SMAP being serious when they appears as guest on other shows. they are more fun on their own shows... =)

Yeah, I thought there was a lot of tension during MS. I didn't expect KimuTaku to seem so unfriendly and scary. Especially when Aiba addressed him, I felt bad for Aiba because it just seemed so awkward. I guess they had run out of questions to ask Arashi because they're on MS so often, but they could have thought of something, ANYTHING different to ask them.

Anyway, congrats to Arashi for getting No. 1 in album rankings for the second week in a row.

Yep, I was expecting a more fun-crazy-hilarious interaction between the three groups too in that MS episode. Based on Riida-Nakai funny interactions in Utaban and the impressions that Tokio members get along well with Arashi, I thought they would show a more lively and dorky senpai-kouhai relationship during the show. That's why I'm a little bit surprised that they appeared 'calm' with each other and not as 'dorky' and funny as I'd imagined them would be.

However, I don't want to jump to any conclusion (unlike what that tabloid Cyzo did: giving bad impression on Kimutaku and SMAP because they're not acting friendly, and saying that there's a tense relationship between senpai and kouhai in JE, etc). The fact is, we do not know for sure what'd really happened there. There are lots of possibilities of why the three groups decided to give that kind of 'less boisterous' atmosphere during the show. It is possible that they decided to be subtle to respect other performers that appeared in the show. It is also possible that the MS staff was the one who ask them to be subtle. There are endless possibilities, and the ones that know what'd really happened is them (not Cyzo).

Well, whatever'd happened, I still enjoyed that MS episode. Aiba-chan's story about hearing voices is funny (albeit weird and creepy) and seeing Riida talked is always fun ^_^ Arashi gave a nice performance too (love the Troublemaker part, because of the Yama pair cute moment and Nino's determination to not let Riida joined the dance). It's a fun performance :-)

I'm just going to leave it at this:

I love a lot of the Johnny's groups, SMAP, Tokio, Kanjani8, Kattun, etc. Respect should be a two-way street, going both directions. Regardless of whether it was intentional or not intentional by Kimutaku and SMAP, and even if SMAP were hunky dory with their kouhais during rehearsals or backstage, on live national television, with thousands of music fans watching and anticipating great comraderie between idols who share similar junior training, and entertainment experiences via movies, dramas, variety shows, etc., the fact is they were in the presence of other successful Johnny's groups. Short of looking bored (by Nakai) or too cool (by Kimutaku), and considering their kouhais Tokio and Arashi showed respect for their senpais, it doesn't take much to at least show some visible respect back, and I stress 'show' because again, they were on live national television for everyone to see. They are the, if not one of the, oldest active Johnny's groups, so at least acknowledging their kouhais, and acting visibly interested, shold not be a new thing for a group as longstanding as SMAP. And saying oh this is they way they always are, is not really an excuse. Their are fans of all three groups who were expecting some great light-hearted, happy comraderie, and SMAP's intentional or unintentional behavior was noticable to viewers who watched the show on what should have been a special occasion. It's not fans fault if their reactions after the show were what they were. They saw what they saw, again whether intended or accidental by SMAP or staff/crew of Music Station or whoever else, because it boils down to still being responsible for your own actions. Really, it doesn't take much to show some respect or at least act visibly interested with the younger kouhais, especially given that even though they were SMAP's kouhais, Tokio and Arashi have both earned their respective successes.

That's all I'm going to say about that odd situation on Music Station. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's live performances, and I consider it a rare blessing of all Johnny's fans to see the top groups together on one show.

Thanks, Yamakaze for today's news updates. Thoroughly loved reading the blogs by other musicians and artists. :) It always gives us a unique perspective of Arashi's interactions with other people in the entertainment industry. :)
