今日はかき氷の問題です。Today’s question is on shaved ice.

かき氷食べると頭がキーンってするよね。あれなんで？キーンってするじゃん。キーンって。キーーーーーンってさ。
When you eat shaved ice your head kinda goes like “ki~n”. Doesn’t it? It goes like “ki~n”. Like “ki~n”. It goes like “ki~~~~~~~n” you know. (as if telling ghost story XD)

さて、砂糖などに水を加えて溶かしたかき氷などにかける濃厚な液体を何というでしょうか？
So then, how do you call that thick liquid poured on things like shaved ice which is produced when sugar is melted in water?

I think "shaved ice" or "shave ice" is used more commonly than "shredded ice".
