[identity profile] nino-sho555.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] arashi_on
Hi everybody, I don't know if this post is allowed, sorry if it not and you can delete it right away.

My principal at my high school told us if any of the students want to start any kind of club, we have to write a proposal telling them what type of club and what we will do. I want to start a Arashi club at my school, it will be all about Arashi, but I don't know what we should do during the club, or what I should share with the members of the club. It would be great to share Arashi information around my high school.

What I need help on is ideas on what the club should focus on, like I could show Arashi variety shows, concerts and dramas.

I'm in need of help, because I have no idea what to do, all I know is that I want to start a Arashi club in my school.

It would really help me out if I heard other Arashi fans ideas on what I should do. I'm the only fan in my school.

Thank you so much!

instead of arashi, you should expand it, maybe make it a japanese pop culture club or something like that, then more people will want to join.

i agree with the comment above, you should branch it out a little. i mean your idea is awesome and i think is great to introduce people to arashi :) but if you think realistically, if you are the only arashi fan as you say, it would be hard to get the club started. Maybe do something more general with japanese music/asian music but then really promote arashi in the club! good luck with it! ^^

If anyone doesn't think Nino looks like a puppy sometimes, you show them this and they'll be like: "Oh... O__O"

Depending on how often you meet you can watch the boys dramas together and then discuss each episode. You can also do monthly polls about the members and keep each other informed. You can have special showings of the concerts. And if your school has a Japanese language course with Japanese club you can pair up for actives like cultural days, events games etc.

Since you want to spread the word and get others interested you should try and push things that you think people would be interested in like the music or something. People who get into music will come to club meetings to learn more or watch dramas.

Honestly since your the only Arashi fan (you know of) at your school it might be better to go broader with a Japanese Pop culture club. That covers movies music dramas it'll be easier for you to meet people and share interest and get people into Arashi since Arashi is a big part of Japanese Pop Culture right now. And then this way you can have something of a show and tell were people can come and talk about their fandom and why they like them pimp them.

Hope that helps. ^_^

In my high school we had a sort of japanese culture based club but really it was mostly about anime and stuff it was called genshikin and we did may thngs there. although I didn't go alot to those things but they do many things like they watch anime together cosplay sometimes throw parties and talent shows where people would dance and sing and i sang an arashi song there once and they had also all watched hana yori dango together there and there were also alot of korean artists fans there. so expanding it is your best shot because if you just call it arashi, the people wont have any interest because they dont now them but anime fans jdramaa fans kpop fans etc. will all come and since you would start the club and if you become the president you can promote arashi as much as you want and you know that once people get to know our boys they cant stop and besides theyre so funny everyone would really enjoy themselves but do other various things at times as to not make them suspicious that ur trying to convert them into arashi fans xD

Do (harmless) Ni no Arashi pranks!
Play games from the Arashi no Shukudaikun No-Money specials!

lol, I too was in this situation 2 years ago, but just like the others suggested I decided on not call in it the Arashi Club and instead named it Asian Culture Club where our goal is to expand our knowledge of other countries cultures and stuff so that we become more aware of the world around us and that the club namely focused on Asian Culture BECAUSE there there is way different than American Culture ....of course I told this to the principal and teachers so that they didn't think our club was just fooling around and screaming over Japanese Pop Idols xD...but instead when we meet there is actually little learning and stuff.......pretty much all we do is watch Arashi's variety show's and stuff....Or we watch Anime and listen to Jpop, haha xD Yet, Occasionally we do fundraisers and stuff at our local tailgate parties and set up a place for DDR and Guitar Hero and we sell food from a local Chinese or Japanese restaurant :D

i think the anime club will be against the asian drama club XD
cause they hate their mangas to become live action.. Hahaha~!

I remember my japanese class.. half of it is Anime fans and half of it is JPOP/Drama fans.. and.. the drama fans took over the class with arashi/heysayjump.. yeaah XD

the anime fans hates us.. XD Even the teacher use arashi for examples HAHAHA!

good luck with this club dude.. as i'll try and do the same thing.. and i'll be against the anime club XD

I agree with a lot of the other comments here. Like at my college, we have a Japan Culture Club, and even something as broad as that is sometimes hard to maintain, as far as members go. But it leaves the club open to all kinds of different things. You might find that exploring Japanese culture- not just pop culture- is interesting too. :)

hahaha.. in my japanese class.. most of the guys who likes anime *hentais*
ended up.. loving yatterman.. (Sho and his skillz) cause we watched that movie in my class...

also.. i remember guys hate dramas so much, they look down on me.. after watching.. Hanna Kimi... their world turned upside down.. and start liking dramas with Maki Horikita XD So.. if you ever have a club.. the 1st drama you should let them see, is Hana Kimi *THUMBS UP*

Make it a Japanese culture club! And then, you stick All arashi photo's in the club house! You played arashi's new song over and over again! And during carnival, you bring out VS ARASHI games(Rolling coin tower and also Falling pipe or any games! But not the nipple t-shirt ones!)

And there you have it, Japanese Culture Club on the outside while the inside is ARASHI MADNESS!

Yeah, I agree with most of the comments above because since you're the only Arashi fan in your school, it should be a Japanese Pop Club instead of Arashi Club in order to get more members to join. =)

Like in my school, we have a Japanese Club where activities related to Japan are done (making sushi, wearing Yukata etc.). We even watch Japanese dramas and sing Japanese songs. I think this is where you can start to promote Arashi and make them popular among the students in your school~! =D

Btw, where do you live? I really hope you'll be able to start a club. That will be sooo cool~! xD

OMG!
I'M THE ONLY ARASHI FAN IN MY HIGH SCHOOL TOO!!

and yes, i agree with the first comment where to spread jpop culture.
i mean, i dont only LOVE arashi. they're my ICHIBAN, always. but i have other jpop people i crave over.
for example, sometimes i follow certain japanese boys for new drama releases.
some are: koike teppei, oguri shun, miura haruma, takizawa hideaki, nishikido ryo, ARASHI~, well, those are the main ones.

but the club will need a supporting teacher to lead it, no?
but you can always ask your principal for help. i should know, my principal is my advisor :D
