Please note that the gossip blog article posted previously in the community about how Arashi celebrated Jun's birthday with an extravagant party is false.

According to Jun's latest Natsu no Michishirube, he received texts and presents from the members-- all of them except for Ohno, that is. Nino gave him a practice mat for golf putting, Aiba gave him "eccentric" clothes, and Sho gave him a halfket (Japanese blankets that are half the size of a normal blanket). He also received presents from the staff and cookies from Takeuchi Yuko. I haven't seen the full text of the entry in question up anywhere yet, but talk of that Jweb entry is all over Japanese fans' blogs, some revealing more details than others.

So again: please do not believe that article as it was entirely made up.

I don't understand why the rumor has to be proven as false because of what Jun said.
I mean... he revelead that the had presents from all the guys except Riida, but how this can say us that the party wasn't held at all?

Sure, it's up to you whether to believe that article - written and posted by a gossip/rumour blog, no less - is real or not. He could be lying to cover it up because he's, I don't know, shy or something, who knows?

Personally though, I don't see why Jun would absolutely leave out any detail of a party/dinner/etc. thrown for his birthday and instead talk about receiving texts and presents that are completely different from those mentioned in said article. Even if they did throw a party for him, wouldn't the fact that there are glaring discrepancies make you question its authenticity?

I would be more worried if the story were true because that meant Jun was so depressed/sad/down that the members and staff had to give him such an elaborate birthday celebration to cheer him up.

As much as the story was heartwarming, I could not picture the members in such a situation. The story somehow felt like a fanfic.

I think the actual article you posted up sounded more realistic in a way.
I was cracking up when Nino gave him the mat for golfing, especially since he fails in golf. xD

Además que le dieran a Jun esos regalos que mencionan ahora, no tiene nada que ver con los vales de tu anterior post, ya sabes a lo que me refiero, aparte de los vales, podrían también regalarle otras cosas, ¿no? ^^
