The Ohno Challenge!

I know, I know, you guys must be thinking "Geez she posts w/out introducing herself and now she's already giving out some random challenge.. and it's on Ohno of all people! I feel bad so i'm gonna introduce myself now.

Okay, now that that's over with, lets get to the challenge. Last night a friend (coughNyshalcough) and I were watching some old clips of shonen club, looking for Arashi members before they debuted, and some kat-tun members as well. We saw lots of Aiba, lots of Nino, lots of Jun (they were always together, weren't they?), and little of Sho, but alas no Ohno. Now you guys must also be wondering..Do they have no lives that they would look for Arashi members before they debuted?

To those who must be wondering, I have only this to say to you..

Now, back to the challenge.. Can anyone spot Ohno dancing in the background or singing in the background before his debut with the rest of the members? There is a clip where each Arashi member is shown dancing in the background before Arashi formed... but can anyone spot Ohno besides that clip? I don't know when Ohno joined so my somewhat hint is to look at the shows from 1995 til 1999? Good luck and happy hunting.





Now something(s) random..

I was reading an interview translated by amnos.net on how Arashi was formed and i just had to share. The show in which they were interviewed was Hey! Hey! Hey! this year. (here is the link for the interview: http://amnos.net/heyx3.php)
-I think Sho picked the name of Arashi and he was "in" the group first,
-Nino and Jun were "in" second cause Mr. Johnny of Johnny's Ent. said they were good at playing volleyball..?
-followed by Ohno, who thought he was just helping out in the recording studio
- Aiba joined last... three days before going to Hawaii to you know, DEBUT..
-and they still release a single 2 months after they debut...

Anyway. I think I had some clips with 'young' Ohno in them before last year when my computer died!!! So.. yeah maybe I can find something. But I might be mistaken XP

I'm so SORRY about the computer thang..! But you know whats funny? Nyshal's computer just died recently and right now we're just watching things that she happened to have on disks before her computer died! In fact I don't even think we would of even done the "look for Arashi before they're Arashi" if it weren't for her hard drive having seizures then a heart attack and then dying!

"young' Ohno will be a hard challenge.. Nyshal thinks he may be in the way far back when there are tons of juniors and stuff, which makes me a little sad cause he's such a great dancer and singer! I keep thinking, man he's so great why isn't he anywhere I can see him... oh Ohno where are you?

I don't think I really have any Johnny's stuff pre-Arashi. Oops... hehe...

But I read the same HeyHeyHey interview, and I was under the impression Satoshi was doing mainly in-studio back-up singing from it. He mentioned that he just thought he was doing more back-up when he went into the studio to sing Arashi, didn't he?


More food for thought from another interview I'll have to refind:

Aiba mentions that two days before shooting the Arashi video he was still in Juniors because when they called for the Juniors in the video shoot he nearly went over, and then had to remind himself he wasn't in Juniors anymore. (*lol*)

But does this mean they shot the video while they were in Hawaii??

::light bulb lights up in her head:: ahh.. i see now, I think i was thrown off by Ohno being a good horse. Thanks for clearing some things up. :P

In my head i envisioned Ohno just about to walk out of Johnny's forever and just as he gets to the doors Mr. Johnny walks by and goes: "Hey ... YOU Help them out!"

then Ohno thinking ::Dang.. and I was so close!:: "Hai hai.. wait, help who out?"

Mr Johnny then grabs him and throws him into the studio dungeon with some music saying"Sing this.. Bye bye!"

Ohno sings the stuff and then goes to leave again, he carefully looks out for Mr. Johnny as he leaves but alas.. Mr Johnny comes up from behind him and throws tickets to Hawaii at him "Pack your stuff, you're going to Hawaii."

I know! and how they were also randomly just thrown in together last minute to debut! It makes me wonder how the more 'established' Johnny Jr.'s groups felt when they got passed over for this rag tag group...
