Hi guys, I have a few questions I've always, always wanted to ask, but didn't had the time to do so, and now that I'm free and practically need an answer to them, sorry for the trouble!

1. How do one usually get tickets to concerts? I saw lots of sites/ comments on this question elsewhere but I didn't want to mislead myself, so is anyone kind enough to help me with some explanations? ^^
2. How can I get about 3~4 tickets for Sapporo Dome on the 13/14 November? Is it even possible to get them by now?
3. Are there any recommended places that I should go (being a huge Johnnys fan)? Also, please do share any other cool unrelated to Johnnys
places if you know as well! XDD

The last question is a getting a little personal but, I'm staying at Japan from 6th of November till the 15th, and my hotel is located in Tokyo. My biggest worry right now is that my dad thinks going to Sapporo just for one concert is crazy so I don't know how I should arrange the schedule!
I don't think I wanna stay over the night in Sapporo either (I'm going for another full Hokkaido trip in the future!!) ^^ so I thought of taking the plane (JAL, if possible, I wanna sit the Arashi plane!!) to Sapporo in the morning, then after the concert, take the plane back to Tokyo! Is that a good choice? Anyone has a better idea?
I'm going with my younger sister, mum and dad, the four of us but my dad is most likely not attending the concert XD

FINALLY, after a looong wait, I'm able to go to Japan!! T_T *tears of joy* I really can't wait!! ♥  XDDDD Hope you guys can help me out, I would realllly appreciate it!!

THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!!♥

EDIT: EVERYONE, THANK YOU VERYYY MUCH!!!!! I'm really grateful to all of you who've commented, every single comment is
♥  I'll make sure to note all of them down, once again, thank you soo much!

yahoo! auctions at this point is the only way to probably get tickets, but youre looking at a minimum spend of $500 per concert ticket >

Is 500$ the normal price? Or is it just so high because it's very late for buying a ticket? I'm just wondering, because I really love Arashi but 500$ is a little bit over the top to fill a whole stadium o_o

Here (http://community.livejournal.com/a_ra_shi/775345.html) is a post with a lot of information about buying concert tickets.

I'm not sure how feasible it will be to go to the concert and fly back that night, as concerts can last a while and it will be pretty late by the time you get out, and then you would have to factor in transportation time back to the airport. You can look up flights through whatever website you choose, and I recommend this website (http://www.jorudan.co.jp/english/) to calculate transit time and prices. Also take note that this is going to cost you a whole lot: Arashi tickets will probably run at least $500 per ticket, and flying to Sapporo and back isn't cheap either. Good luck!

i think u only have option for 14th then if u dun want to stay overnight as the concert will end around 8pm so spare some time for u to leave the Dome for Chitose airport. However, at this time, u might not be able to find plane ticket to go back to Tokyo on 14th now as the majority of fangirls will also be flying night flights back to Tokyo for their works on Monday.

For concert tickets, if u dun have any friends or families in Japan, auction and buying through website are actually hard to do. I would suggest you to visit ticket shop at Harajuku though. You gotta bear in mind for ticket price anyway as it has double up from last year. I have checked yahoo auction and for unknown seat for Sapporo now, it has gone up to 40,000 yen and still going.

Good luck anyway

I am not the one asking but thanks a lot for the info :D
Just wondering though, if you come to Harajuku shops last minute, say, just 2 days before the concert, are the tickets normally still available? I know they are gonna be crazily expensive though, probably even more than Yahoo! auction, right?

I (almost) give up

hi! I hope this help. First I guess you already know its gonna be freaking expensive so if you have alot of money I think you still can do it.
1. You can get a ticket on this site: http://www.ticket.co.jp/sys/search.php?com=init&ki=188&st=20101113 for the concert's 13/nov in Sapporo, the cheapest is around 45,000yens. But I think you need to be in Japan to get it so...
2. I got a ticket from that site with a girl's help on here: http://je-goods.livejournal.com/1003.html?page=1#comments of course you will have to pay her service fee
3. About the flight back to Tokyo on the same day I think you wont make it cause the concert ends late but you can check the availability of flights on this site: http://www.jal.co.jp/en/ I think a round trip its about 30800yens at least

You can check out the Johnny's store at Harajuku. It's really near the station, just a 5 minute walk, from the entrance near the bridge (and the temple) and cross and it's just in the lane near the Takoyaki shop.

If you go at lunch time, be prepared to see a huge long queue to get in.

Try going at non-peak periods, say 4pm or so, gauge the time yourself because there is never a fixed "non-peak" period so you can go in without having to queue and can spend as long as you want choosing the shop photos.

And Harajuku has great shopping so you can adjourn to the nearby street and shop. (And the largest Daiso is there too, great for small gifts and snacks.)

Does anyone happen to know when they send out the refund checks when you didn't hit for the concerts? I'm leaving Japan next month and I wanted to know if I have a chance of receiving my check before I go. thanks in advance!

I can tell you that I saw tickets for the Kokuritsu Concerts two weeks ago in Shibuya and the prices were 680 dollars for a "bad seat" and 1200 dollars for a "good seat".
Arashi is the most expensive thing at the moment >_>

I would suggest going to the FujiTV building in Odaiba. There are plenty of things to do in Odaiba that I think your family would have fun doing- shopping, things to look at, etc. The FujiTV building should have a little display for Arashi's show (VS Arashi) and other dramas that are currently airing on their channel. The architecture of the FujiTV building is pretty awesome too, in my opinion. ^^;

There's also the huge ferris wheel (I think it's still be the largest in the world), which is fun to ride on and see the view of the surrounding area. If you just wander around you can usually find fun things to look at and places to shop in Odaiba.

Here are directions to the Aiba family's restaurant:

Here is a giant list of drama and Johnny's related locations (really image heavy):

Well, I went to Japan and to Arashi concert last year, and I did the same two weeks ago. From my own experience, getting tickets not being a fan club member is extremely hard and expensive. It's the same for members who are not lucky and don't get tickets on the poll, but it's even worse for a western girl (european in my case).
Last year I bought tickets for 55000 yen each (the price in dollars or euro or whatever depends on the currency exchange, that changes everyday, so you have to check it), and this year it was imposible to find them for less than 60000 yen, and they are not sits near the stage, altough the views are great and this year we could see their faces well sometimes, and the experience, believe me, will be the best of your life.
There are websites that resell tickets, but they usually charge a high percentage for them. Both times, we found tickets on yahoo auctions of japan. THere are lots of them there, but you need to be in Japan to participate in the auction, so you will need someone who helps you.
You can't buy tickets now, since the tickets are not sold or sent to the legitimate owner of the fanclub until a few weeks before the concert. A couple of weeks before and until the same day of the concert is easy to find lots of tickets in a shop in Tokyo, at Takeshita Dori (Harajuku). It's named Gorakudoh (it has a website). If you can't find anybody who buys the tickets for you, you can buy them by yourself there, but the prices are the same.
People told me that you could find people reselling tickets outside of the dome or the stadium. This may be for other Johnnys groups, but for Arashi all that you will find is hundreds of people looking for (cheap) tickets. FOr other groups you can find much more cheaper tickets (a friend of mine found tickets for NEWS for 150 euro and 70 euro), but still very expensive sometimes.
I know the things I am telling you are not good news, but I would like to help you, and you need to know how the thing really is. We had hard times trying to find the tickets, but finally we did, twice, so maybe you'll be lucky. YOu still have enough time to find somebody in Japan who help you.
If you try it with all your strenght you'll success. If you need to know something more, you can ask me.

You will almost definitely need to stay the night. :( I went to the Sapporo concerts last year, and they ended around 9, I believe, but getting out of Sapporo Dome is amazingly difficult to do. There's only one narrow road to the station, and the main station is so crowded that it took my friend and I hours to even get on the train. We didn't make it back to our hotel until just after midnight. I imagine that getting back to the airport will be extremely difficult.

So my recommendation is to fly in for the 13th, stay the night, and then fly back on the 14th. It's a lot better to be safe than sorry!

Er.. if you dont have the flight booked already will be hard (well..better said, expensive) to book it now, like for last JAL flight avaliable on sunday (20.40 arashi jet) is +20K and since con would be ending around 7pm you should have to take a taxi (which is quite expensive as well). Tickets are around 40K right now (the cheapest), quite expensive right now (i had sapporo last year last day for around 18k on auction and good seat)

And as for nice places, last year i was in Tokyo around same time as yours and i liked a lot Tokyo Tower because it was full of X-mas light, and also Ebisu Garden Place, which had a looong red carpet and lot of lights, really lovely :)

I don't know if this helps anyone but I'd like to share my experience with Arashi concerts. i was able to go get goods at the Osaka Kyocera Dome leg of the 5x10 tour and saw the incredible line that extended from the station all the way to the stairs leading up to the entrance. I wasn't aiming for tickets at the time because I knew one needed to be in the fan club to have a decent chance at getting tickets anyway so I signed up there at the Dome. This year I was unfortunately unable to land tickets in the lottery and now I'm wondering whether its even feasible to obtain tickets if I beg in that long line of girls. What do you think my chances are this year?
